नामांकन वापसी के दिन ही साफ हो गई तस्वीर

बीजेपी के मुताबिक नामांकन वापस लेने की आखिरी तारीख पर जैसे-जैसे समय बीतता गया, वैसे-वैसे बीजेपी के उम्मीदवारों का निर्विरोध चुने जाने का रास्ता साफ हो गया. कई जगह विपक्ष की ओर से उम्मीदवार सामने ही नहीं आए या फिर अंत समय में नाम वापस ले लिया गया. इससे बीजेपी ने बिना चुनाव लड़े ही बड़ी संख्या में जीत हासिल करने का दावा कर दिया.

बीजेपी इसे अपने संगठन की ताकत और सरकार के कामकाज की स्वीकार्यता बता रही है. वहीं विपक्ष का मानना है कि चुनावों में असली लड़ाई अभी बाकी है. कुल मिलाकर, वोटिंग से पहले ही बीजेपी ने शुरुआती बढ़त बना ली है. अब बाकी सीटों पर होने वाले मुकाबले तय करेंगे कि अंतिम नतीजे किसके पक्ष में जाएंगे.

According to the Election Department, till 3 pm the voting percentage was 61.99 percent in West Champaran, 61.92 percent in East Champaran, 61.85 percent in Shivhar, 58.32 percent in Sitamarhi, 55.53 in Madhubani, 62.06 percent in Supaul, 59.80 percent in Araria, 66.10 percent in Kishanganj, 64.22 percent in Purnia. 63.80 percent votes were cast in Katihar and 58.37 percent in Bhagalpur.

How much voting took place till 3 o’clock?

Apart from this, 63.03 percent voting was recorded in Banka, 62.26 percent in Kaimur, 55.92 in Rohtas, 58.26 in Arwal, 58.72 in Jehanabad, 60.59 in Aurangabad, 62.74 in Gaya, 53.17 in Nawada and 63.33 percent in Jamui. ‎In the second phase, more than 3.7 crore voters of 122 assembly seats will decide the political future of 1302 candidates.

Of these, 5326 are located in urban areas while 40073 are located in rural areas. ‎In the 122 seats where voting is being held in the second phase of elections, 122 candidates from NDA and 127 candidates from Grand Alliance are trying their luck.

How many candidates of which party are in the fray in the second phase?

From the NDA side, in this phase, 53 candidates of BJP, 44 of JDU, 15 of LJP (Ram Vilas), six of Hindustani Awam Morcha, 15 of LJP (Ram Vilas) and four of Rashtriya Lok Morcha are in the fray. On behalf of the Grand Alliance, 71 candidates of RJD, 37 of Congress, 6 of CPI(ML), 4 of CPI, 8 of VIP and one candidate of CPI(M) are contesting in the elections. In the first phase, voting was completed on 121 out of total 243 assembly seats in the state on November 6.

Amidst the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference on Monday (November 10) and made a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the Central Government. Bihar will change after November 14, will become the most developed state

Tejashwi further said that this time a government with jobs is going to come in Bihar. He said that after November 14, Bihar will follow the path of becoming the most developed state. The public has made up its mind that this time a government will be formed that provides jobs. He claimed that this time history is going to be made in Bihar. People have voted for change.

Tejashwi said that he held 171 election meetings, and everywhere the mood of change was clearly visible among the public. “People of every society, every religion, every caste have supported us this time.

The RJD leader also targeted Nitish Kumar and the NDA government. He said that the people who have been ruling for 20 years have made Bihar one of the poorest and most backward states of the country. Highest migration, highest poverty and highest unemployment is in Bihar. Tejashwi said sarcastically, “There are two useless Deputy Chief Ministers, but no work has been done for the public.”

Bihar Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Kumar Gunjiyal said that in this election less number of EVMs have been changed as compared to last time. He told that this time 1.21 percent ballot units were changed, whereas in the 2020 elections this number was 1.87 percent. Similarly, this time 1.34 percent change was made in control units, whereas in 2020 this figure was 1.77 percent.

More than 45 thousand polling stations in the first phase

According to the information given by the Election Commission, a total of 1,314 candidates were in the fray in the first phase, of which 1,192 were male and 122 female candidates. There were about 8,609 polling stations in urban areas and 36,733 polling stations in rural areas. The number of polling stations run entirely by women was 926. 165 ballot units, 169 control units and 480 VVPATs were changed during voting.
