Employees Job Priorities in India: Nowadays the trend of changing jobs in India is changing rapidly. Earlier, where people used to give priority only to salary or career growth, now they are focusing more on health and wellness. Meaning, along with salary, health and wellness are also keeping in mind more than before.

This disclosure has been made in a new report on Wednesday. In this report by Global firm Aon, it has been said that about 82% of employees in India are looking for new jobs in the next 12 months. Most of these people are expecting better health and wellness benefits from companies.

What does the report say

According to the report, the 5 major benefits of the Indian employees are looking for work-life balance, medical coverage, career development, salary and retirement savings. The special thing is that Jane X and Jane Y employees gave more importance to medical coverage, while Jane Z gave priority to the work-life balance.

Search for better option in job

Most of the employees have admitted that they are ready for better options leaving the current benefits of their jobs. Given this change, it has now become necessary for companies to make their strategy according to the changing expectations of their employees. Nitin Sethi of Aon says, ‘After Kovid, now the employees’ perspective regarding health and wellness programs has completely changed. Companies are now making these programs a part of their branding.

Focus on retirement and financial planning

This report is based on a survey conducted in 23 countries of the world, in which more than 9,000 employees participated. Aon’s Ashley Decilva also emphasized that now employees have become more aware of medical and life benefits. He said, ‘You will not be sure, but young employees are now focusing more on retirement and financial planning.’ This report proves that now employees are not just salary or posts, but are preferring quality of life and mental pieces.
