The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday announced England’s 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The command of this team has been handed over to senior all-rounder Nate Sciver Brunt. The same England team, captained by Sciver Brunt, will also take part in the series against India and New Zealand in May-June, after which the T20 World Cup will be played. This will be Sciver Brunt’s seventh T20 World Cup.

The Indian women’s team will tour England to play three T20 Internationals and a Test match at Lord’s. The T20 International matches are to be held in late May or early June while the Test matches will be held from 10 to 13 July. This also marks the 50th anniversary of the England women’s team’s match at this iconic ground.

The new name in the England team is 18-year-old Surrey spinner Tilly Courtin Coleman, who will make her debut in international cricket. Apart from this, Ishi Wong of Warwickshire and Lauren Filer of Durham have also got a place in the team for the T20 World Cup for the first time. Surrey’s Danny Watt-Hodge will play in his eighth T20 World Cup. Somerset’s Charizard Dean will be the team’s vice-captain while Hampshire’s fast bowler Lauren Bell will lead the bowling attack.

Many stars of sports and entertainment world announced these 15 names through a unique film. Apart from the T20 World Cup team, the selectors have also announced the team for the ODI series against New Zealand and then the two T20 International series against New Zealand and India.
