The Government of India has launched a mobile app named UMANG for the convenience of citizens. The objective of this app is to provide government services easy and digital on the same platform. The Umang app has been developed through the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and the National E-Governance Division. What is EPF and why do it have to be removed?
EPF is a kind of savings scheme made for jobbers. Every month, a little money is deposited from your salary, and equally accumulates from your office. This money later comes in handy during your retirement or need. You can remove your PF in certain reasons.

For example, whether you have left the job or missed, retirement is taken, medical emergency, education or marriage needs funds and funds are needed to buy or build a house. However, to remove PF from Umang app, you have to fulfill some important conditions. Like your UAN should be connected to your Aadhaar card. Your KYC details should be updated and verified on the EPFO ​​portal. You have left the job, you are unemployed, needed medical or education, there should be any correct reason.

How to remove PF claim from Umang app

1. Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store of your phone to claim PF from Umang app. Search the UMANG app and install it.

2. Open the app and register with the mobile number, an OTP will come on your mobile number, put it and verify it.

3. Now go to the homepage of the app and click on EPFO ​​here.

4. Here you will get many options, choose Employee Kentric Services from them, now choose the option of Raise Claim.

5. Now you have to enter your UAN number, again an OTP will come on the mobile, add it and verify it.

6. Now a form will open, in which you will be asked how much money to withdraw and what is the reason for withdrawing money. In such a situation, whatever is the reason, select them.

7. In some cases you may need to upload documents. Such as medical certificate, education proof, home buying agreement etc.

8. After filling all the information, click on Submit ‘button

9. After submitting the claim, you can go to the Track Claim section and see which stage your application is. You will also get notifications in SMS or UMANG app.
