Official notification has been issued by ESIC for recruitment to the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Under this recruitment process, a total of 11 posts will be appointed. These include 2 posts for Professor, 4 for Associate Professor and 5 for Assistant Professor.

No online application is required for this recruitment. Candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in-interview. This interview will be held on 16 October 2025 at ESIC Medical College and Hospital. Candidates will have to reach the interview venue by 9 am so that the verification of documents and the process can be completed on time.

Talking about salary, Employees State Insurance Corporation provides attractive salary to its employees. Candidates selected for the post of Professor will get a salary of Rs 2,22,543 per month. Associate Professor will be given Rs 1,47,986 and Assistant Professor will be given Rs 1,27,141 every month. Apart from this, candidates will also get other allowances and facilities decided by the government.

Educational qualifications have also been fixed for these posts. The candidate must have MD, MS, MSc or PhD degree from a recognized institute in India. Besides, the required experience and eligibility criteria in the concerned subject will also have to be fulfilled. Preference will be given to candidates having teaching experience in medical field.

Talking about age limit, the maximum age for these posts has been fixed at 67 years. That means candidates older than this cannot apply. However, according to government rules, age relaxation can also be given to reserved categories.

Candidates will have to arrive with all the necessary documents on the day of walk-in-interview. These documents include class 10th certificate, MBBS certificate, PG and Diploma certificate, MD or MS degree, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate and passport size photograph. It is important to carry both original and photocopies of all documents.

Selection on these posts will be done directly through a walk-in-interview instead of written examination. Interested candidates can attend the interview on 30 September 2025 from 10 am to 6 pm.

For this recruitment, candidates must have MBBS or its equivalent degree from a recognized institute in India.

Apart from this, at least 3 years experience for junior specialist and 5 years experience for senior specialist is mandatory.

The age limit has also been decided according to the posts. The age of the candidates applying to the post of Specialist should be less than 69 years, while the maximum age for PGMO has been fixed at 37 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given exemption as per the rules.

After getting a job in ESIC, candidates will also get attractive salary. The candidate selected to the post of Junior Specialist will get a salary of about Rs 1,06,000 every month. At the same time, PGMO will be given a monthly salary of about Rs 85,000.

Candidates will have to bring all the necessary documents with them for the interview. This includes documents like State Medical Council Registration Certificate, Class X certificate, date of birth certificate, educational qualification certificate, caste certificate, two passport size photos and Aadhaar cards.

ESIC has 155 posts for Specialist Grade-II (Senior Scale) and 403 for Junior Scale. For these posts, post graduate degrees of medical fields like MD, MS, MCH, DM, DA, MSC or DPM are required. Along with this, 3 to 5 years of work experience has also been sought.

The maximum age limit for this recruitment has been kept at 45 years, although the candidates of the reserved category will get age relaxation according to the rules.

The last date of application is for those candidates who live in remote areas like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar etc. 2 June 2025 while other candidates can apply by 26 May.

The most special thing about this recruitment is its attractive salary. While Junior Scale Specialist will get 67,700 per month, while Senior Scale Specialist will get salary of up to 78,800 per month. Apart from this, DA, HRA and Transport Allows will also be given, which will increase the total salary package even more.
