According to an ABC News report, Gabriel Perez has been Trump’s teleprompter operator since 2016. Taking advantage of inside information about the President’s speeches, he placed bets several times. Using this information, Gabriel placed bets on the online prediction platform Kalshi and earned more than 1 lakh dollars (about Rs 85 lakh) from it.

Kalshi’s rules were violated
This matter came to light when Kalshi’s lawyer and enforcement chief Robert Denault identified suspicious activities and investigated them. After this truth came to light, Robert sent the matter to the American regulatory body Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). However, he did not take the name of any employee. This matter was also against the rules of betting app Kalshi. According to the rules of Kalshi, no person can bet on the basis of confidential information obtained during his job.
