The Gurugram-Sohna-Dausa Expressway, built a year ago in Gurugram, Haryana, has caved in. There is a 10 feet deep pothole on the expressway. However, there has been no accident or anyone injured. But due to the collapse of the road on the expressway so soon, many questions are being raised. This expressway was inaugurated by PM Modi only in February 2023. At present the local authorities have barricaded the mattress.

Actually, this is not the first time that this road has caved in, but this road has caved in many times before also. There is a big sewer pipeline passing under the road, which often breaks and causes the road to sink. Although there was no accident due to the view of the road, but to ensure safety, barricades were placed around the pit so that no accident happens to the driver there.

was built in a hurry

Let us tell you that after the formation of BJP government in Haryana in 2014, PWD Minister Rao Narveer Singh got this road constructed in such a hurry that it was not even checked properly, and this road was built in a hurry at a cost of thousands of crores of rupees. Even before this, this road has caved in many times but the administration did not pay any heed to it. Rather, temporary work is done, it is closed and the road is made again.

But after a few months, the same road again breaks somewhere, where a pothole is formed and invites a major accident. However, today, as soon as the road subsides and a pothole is formed, barricades have been installed there so that no major accident occurs. But in the future too, if the road sinks again and during this time a driver gets hit by it, then imagine what can happen.

Opposition raised questions

The opposition has made serious allegations of corruption due to the construction of mattresses on the expressway so soon. It is being told that the expressway was completed without following the standards and such continuous incidents have proved that the common man’s money is being looted. Not only this, the video of the pit is also quite viral on social media.
