Rohit Sharma will next be seen playing in the ODI series against New Zealand. The 3-match ODI series between India and New Zealand will start from January 11. It seems that Rohit’s entire focus is on keeping himself fit at the moment. One of his videos is going viral, in which a fan offered Vada Pav to Rohit, but the ‘Hitman’ clearly refused.

A video of Rohit Sharma practicing before the first ODI against New Zealand has surfaced. A fan asked in Marathi, “Rohit bhaiya, do you want vada pav?” Rohit rejected the fan’s offer by shaking his hand in response.

Earlier, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, a fan had offered Vada Pav to Rohit Sharma, but the veteran cricketer had rejected that too. Rohit played 2 matches for Mumbai in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Rohit Sharma is in excellent form. In the third ODI against Australia, he played a century inning of unbeaten 121 runs. He maintained his good form by playing 2 half-century innings in the series against South Africa. Rohit was then seen in action in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where in the very first match for Mumbai, he scored 155 runs against Sikkim.

Former assistant coach of the Indian cricket team, Abhishek Nair told that Rohit Sharma has cut down his diet. According to Nair, Rohit had trained like a bodybuilder before returning to the Indian team.
