If you use FASTag, then this update is important for you. From February 1, 2026, NHAI has simplified the KYV (Know Your Vehicle) process for 4-wheelers. Now after FASTag is activated, it will not be necessary for every user to do KYV. The purpose of KYV is to verify the FASTag with the correct vehicle and owner, so that misuse or duplication can be prevented. Under the new rule, this responsibility will be of banks instead of users. Only banks will complete the verification before issuing FASTag. With this change, the use of FASTag will become easier and hassle-free. Existing users will also not need to do KYV for everyday use, this process will be applicable only in some specific complaints or loose FASTag cases.

Fastag Annual Pass will run only on National Paiva

From August 15, the fastag annual pass has started across the country. Which will run only on the National Highway and Expressway. Explain that 3000 rupees will have to be paid for the fastag annual pass. In which you will be able to complete 200 trips with a validity of 1 year. Whatever happens before these things will be valid. This will prove to be good for those people.

Many people are confused thinking whether they will have to make a new fastag separate fasting when they go on the state highway from the National Highway. The answer is not. Actually, fastag anuel pass is active on the current fastag attached to your car. This means that you have both fastgus annual pass and normal fastag.

Can you buy from the balance of fastag?

Annual fastag passes are starting across the country from tomorrow. Many people believe that the annual pass can be purchased directly from the balance lying in the fastag. but it’s not like that. The balance and annual pass payment of the fastag is considered to be different. To get the pass, you have to deposit the fixed amount separately. The balance in it is used only for toll payment.
