China has objected to the shared maritime patrolling of India and the Philippines in South China Sea. Without naming India, China has said that the Philippines are threatened with such joint-petrol, regional peace and stability with the navies of other countries. Three warships of the Indian Navy, INS Delhi, Shakti and Kilton are visiting the Philippines these days and are doing a shared exercise.

During the exercise, the Indian warships are patrolling the South China Sea with the Navy of the Philippines. For the last two years, there has been tremendous tension between China and the Philippines in South China C and clashes have also come out.

China’s Ministry of Defense opposed joint petrol

According to China’s Defense Ministry spokesman Senior Colonel Tian Junali, “On August 3-4, the Navy of China’s Southern Theater Command Navy patrolled the routine in South China Sea. During this time, military activities and hypes done by the Navy of other countries are completely under control.” But the senior colonel opposed the Joint petrol by bringing the Navy of other countries in South China C of the Philippines.

President of Philippines arrived on a five -day visit to India

The special thing is that on Monday (August 4, 2025), the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Razos, visited India on a five-day (August 4-8) tour. On Tuesday (August 5), President Draupadi will meet Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the capital Delhi. During the visit to Marcos, several important agreements are likely to be signed between the two countries. Because India and the Philippines have an important partnership in areas like trade, defense-security, agriculture, pharma, healthcare and digital technology.

Strategic relations between India and the Philippines became very strong

In the year 2023, India exported supersonic cruise missile BrahMos to the Philippines. The Anti-Ship BrahMos missile has been deployed by the Philippines to protect its sea cots. China also keeps a feud from the Philippines about this.

In the last few years, the strategic relations between India and the Philippines have become very strong. This is the reason that three warships of Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy are on a tour of the Philippines these days. Commanding-in-Chief Rear Admiral Sushil Sushil Menon of Eastern Fleet is himself on a visit to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. India has always been a great advocate of Freedom of Navigation in the Indo-Pacific sector.
