Meanwhile, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has issued new guidelines. In this, it has been recommended to ban many popular “add-on treatments” adopted during IVF. What was found in research?

Scientists at King’s College London included 100 women in this research. Of these, 50 women got IVF with PGT-A Test, while the remaining 50 got IVF in normal way. Among the women who conducted PGT-A test, 72% gave birth to healthy baby. At the same time, this figure was only 52 % of women who have done IVF in the normal way. Apart from this, women conducting PGT-A test needed to transfer fetus less often. Due to this, the stress of his time left and repeated failure also reduced. This is a matter of relief for those women who have been trying to become a mother for a long time.

Why this test is so important?

In women above 35 years of age, the possibility of disturbances of chromosomes in the fetus increases. Because of this, many times there is no pregnancy or there is a risk of miscarriage.
