The deal worth more than Rs 62 thousand crore was approved to buy 156 light fighter helicopters. These helicopters will be constructed in Bengaluru and Tumkur in Karnataka. , During the war in Kargil in 1999, for the first time, the Ministry of Defense realized the need for stealth helicopters to operate in height areas. After this, working on such helicopters was started.

, It can easily work at a height of more than 15 thousand feet. This specialty makes it very useful for the boundaries and regions of the Himalayas. It can be installed by air-to-air missiles, anti-tank guided missiles and rockets.
