But now this film has become a part of controversies about a scene. An FIR has been lodged against the actor and director of the Jat movie in Jalandhar police station Sadar.

A case has been registered against Bollywood actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Veenit Kumar, Director Gopi Chand, producer Naveen Malineni, who worked in the Jat movie in Jalandhar. This case has been done under Section 299 BNS to hurt religious sentiments.
