Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express: A major train accident occurred in Yalamanchili, Andhra Pradesh on Monday (29 December 2025). A sudden fire broke out in B1 and M2 coaches of Tata-Ernakulam Express train. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos in the train, but many passengers were taken out safely in time. B1 and M2 coaches were completely burnt to ashes in the accident. In this accident, the body of one person has been taken out, while many other passengers narrowly escaped. The fire broke out in the train between 12 and 1 am.

The loco pilot immediately stopped the train as soon as he got information about the fire. After this, the team of railway employees and fire department reached the spot and started the work of extinguishing the fire.

Police officer gave information

A senior police officer said that this accident happened near Yalamanchili. Officials received information about the fire at 12:45 am on Monday. The police officer said that at the time of the fire, one of the affected coaches was carrying 82 passengers and the other was carrying 76 passengers. “Unfortunately, a body was found in the B1 coach,” he said.

Officials said that according to initial information, both the coaches were completely burnt to ashes. Senior railway officials have reached the spot and are monitoring the entire operation. For safety reasons, both the coaches have been separated from the train. A senior officer present at the spot said that the fire was very severe. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact number of casualties and identify the cause of the fire.

A massive and powerful explosion took place in a firecracker (fireworks) manufacturing factory in Bhalwani village under Khanapur taluka of Sangli district of Maharashtra. The explosion was so powerful that its blast was felt up to 2 kilometers away. Due to which panic spread in the entire area.

According to the information, this explosion occurred during the manufacturing of fireworks. Due to the blast, there were cracks in the glasses of houses and vehicles in nearby villages including Bhalwani and the ground shook.

Two people seriously injured in the explosion

Aftab Mansoor Mulla and Amin Mulla have been seriously injured in this accident. Both the injured have been immediately admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. Where his condition is said to be critical.

After the explosion, a massive fire broke out in the factory. To control the fire, two fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and after a lot of effort the fire was brought under control.

Although the fire has been extinguished, the entire area was shaken by this massive explosion. The administration has cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure and investigation into the cause of the explosion has been started.
