Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given great relief to the former firefighters. Now during the recruitment of UP Police, Agnivirs will get 20% reservation. This decision has recently been approved in the UP cabinet and it will be especially benefited to the youth who have completed four years of Agneepath service.

UP Minister Suresh Khanna informed the media that this reservation will be applicable in direct recruitment to posts like constables, firemen and horsemen police. Along with this, the fireworks will also be given three years exemption in the age limit, so that they can get more opportunities in recruitment. That is, the former firemen of EWS, SC, ST and OBC class will get reservation according to their class. This system will be implemented from 2026 and the first batch of fire can be seen in UP Police in the same year.

Not only UP, reservation is being provided in these states also

UP is not the first state which has given priority to former firemen in government recruitment. Haryana, Rajasthan and Assam have already announced reservation in government jobs to fireworks.

Haryana Government has said to give priority to the firemen in police and other departments. <R /> Rajasthan government is also giving opportunity to former firefighters in departments like police and home guards.

priority being received in central forces
