In this way, eligible women get a total benefit of up to Rs 11,000. The aim of this government scheme is to provide necessary facilities to pregnant women on time during vaccination, health checkup and delivery. Who can take advantage of this scheme?

Only women who are at least 19 years of age can avail the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Apart from this, women facing interruption in work or reduction in salary due to pregnancy or applying for first born children can also avail the benefit of this scheme. Apart from this, SC, ST women, Divyangjan women, BPL card holders, beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, e-Shram card holders, beneficiaries of Kisan Samman Nidhi and women holding MNREGA job card are also considered eligible for this scheme.
