If a 70 kg person jumps rope for 15 minutes, he burns 161 calories. Whereas if an 80 kg person jumps rope for 15 minutes, he burns 184 calories. Which means that on an average, 350 to 400 calories can be burnt in a day by just jumping rope for 15-15 minutes and if this is done twice, about 800 to 900 calories can be burnt. </p>
