Four Stars of Destiny Controversy: After Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi mentioned an excerpt from this book in Parliament, a new debate was sparked. The controversy had escalated so much that Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to speak on it in Parliament. In a recent interview given to India Today, Naravane explained the meaning of this comment, which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had allegedly said to him during the China border dispute. He had said to do whatever you think is right.

General Naravane said that this comment shows the government’s ‘full confidence’ in the armed forces and there should be no politics on this. The former Army Chief stressed that the armed forces were given complete freedom i.e. a free hand to deal with the ground situation. Naravane said that this basically shows the trust that the government had on the army, its leadership and service chiefs. He knew that whatever decision would be taken, it would be taken keeping all the things in mind.

Naravane warned against doing politics over the book’s statement, and also targeted Pakistan and said that India’s armed forces completely stay away from politics. As it does not happen in our neighbourhood.

What is the matter completely?

The entire controversy took place during the budget session of Parliament when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Read some excerpts from the unpublished book ‘Four Stars of Destiny’ Tried to.

The speaker stopped him from doing so. The speaker had refused because the book was not published. It cannot be mentioned in the House.

Even then Gandhi did not stop and brought a copy of that book.
