<p style="text-align: justify;">The effect of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh is still going on, and the Indian Meteorological Department) has issued an alert of rain and strong winds in many districts for the next 24 hours. According to the latest report of Lucknow Meteorological Center, there will be a period of rain in the eastern, western, and central parts of the state. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rains, waterlogging, and strong winds (40-60 km/h) in some areas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the first week of September, many districts are still in flood. All tributaries including Ganga and Yamuna are in spate. Flood waters have now entered cities in many cities.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Heavy rain alert in western UP</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for very heavy rains in Saharanpur, Shamli, and Muzaffarnagar in western Uttar Pradesh. Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, and Bulandshahr are also expected to have moderate to heavy rains. There is also a risk of lightning and strong winds in these areas. People have been advised to be vigilant and stay away from river drains.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Medium rain in eastern UP</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Jaunpur, and Sant Ravidas Nagar of Purvanchal may receive light to moderate rains. There are also chances of rain in Basti, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, and Hardoi of the Terai region. However, the possibility of heavy rains in these districts is low.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Weather of Central UP and Lucknow</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Lucknow will be cloudy in the next 24 hours, and there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains. The maximum temperature can be 30 degrees and the minimum can be 25 ° C. There will also be rain in Pratapgarh, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, and Fatehpur in Central UP. Waterlogging and traffic may be affected in some areas.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Where will the weather be dry</strong><strong>,</strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to the Meteorological Department, there is less chances of rain in some parts of Eastern UP like Ballia, Azamgarh, and Mau, and the weather may be mostly dry. While these areas will be cloudy.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>120 mm to 180 mm rainfall </strong></h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the last 24 hours, Amethi, Sambhal, Bareilly, and Aligarh recorded 120–180 mm rainfall, which increased the water level of the rivers and created waterlogging. The Meteorological Department has advised the administration to fix drainage and traffic system.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The continuous torrential rains in many districts of Uttar Pradesh have affected life. In view of this, the administration has announced a holiday in schools, so that the safety of children can be ensured. The effect of rain also appeared in the Delhi-NCR region. On September 3 in Noida and Ghaziabad, orders have been issued to close schools from nursery to class 12 of all boards. The administration has made it clear that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of children and teaching staff.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span class="cf0">At the same time, all government and private schools and colleges from nursery to class 12 in Bulandshahr will remain closed. The decision of a holiday was taken in view of the safety of students in heavy rains. In Bulandshahr, there is continuous rains for the last two days. Bulandshahr Basic Education Officer Laxmikant Pandey has issued a holiday order.</span></p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;"><span class="cf0">School also closed in Mathura-Bagpat</span></h3>
<p><span class="cf0">In view of heavy rains in Baghpat, all schools from 8th to 12th standard will be closed tomorrow (September 3). The BSA has issued a letter in this regard. Other than this </span><span class="cf0">Due to rain in Mathura and rising water level in Yamuna, District Magistrate Mathura has declared the holiday of 3 and 4 September of schools from 1 to 12th standard.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In Moradabad, DM Anuj Singh issued a instruction to declare a holiday in schools of all boards run from nursery to class 12 on 2 September. The administration said that due to continuous rains, there is a possibility of waterlogging on the roads and problems in traffic, in such a situation, it can be risky for children to go to school.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Schools closed in Amethi on DM&#8217;s orders</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, in Amethi district, instructions were given to keep all schools closed today due to heavy rains for the last two days. On the orders of DM, the District School Inspector (DIOS) announced a holiday in all schools run from classes 1 to 12.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">This step was also taken in Rae Bareli in view of the weather</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of heavy rains in Rae Bareli too, District Magistrate Harshita Mathur issued an order. Following the instructions of DM, it was decided to keep all schools closed from class 1 to 12. The administration says that in view of bad weather, this step has been taken completely for security reasons.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Schools of all boards will remain closed</h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In Meerut, DIOS issued an order saying that schools of all boards up to class 8 will remain closed on September 2. Due to continuous rains, the situation is not normal here and children have been advised to be safe at home.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Common people affected badly due to rain </h3>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Due to this heavy rains in many parts of the state, the common man is facing a lot of problems. In many places, there have been obstacles in waterlogging, traffic jams and traffic. The administration is constantly monitoring the situation and has appealed to the people to be cautious. Giving priority to the safety of children, schools holidays have been declared in the districts.  </p>
