Chandrachud had left ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’

According to Kissa TV, Chandrachud Singh was offered Karan Johar’s film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. The actor was offered the role in the film, which was played by Salman Khan. But Chandrachud rejected it because of ‘Silsila Pyar Ka’. However, the actor says that he had many other projects, due to which he did not have dates.

The film could not even recover its budget

Not only this, it is said about the film ‘Silsila Pyar Ka’ that it was failing miserably at the box office. Even Karisma Kapoor’s stardom could not save it. Whereas at that time Karisma had given blockbusters like ‘Raj Hindustani’. If reports are to be believed, the budget of the film was Rs 5.75 crore while its collection was Rs 3.41 crore. At the same time, if we talk about its IMDb rating, then this is Karisma Kapoor’s film with the lowest IMDb rating, which has got a rating of 2.8 out of 10.

However, if reports are to be believed, after the flop of the film, Karisma had said in an interview that the director had completely changed the story told to her while making the film and that is why it flopped. Let us tell you that the film was directed by Shrabani Deodhar.

The film was not able to remove even half of the budget
‘Avarpan’ was directed by Mohit Suri and its budget was 18 crores. The film came on screen on 29 June 2007 but could not win the heart of the audience. After the release, ‘Aaradhana’ could not withdraw even half the money of its budget and the collection of the film was reduced to 7.76 crores. Emraan Hashmi starrer appeared in the film with Shreya Sharan in the lead role. Apart from this, artists like Mrinalini Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Purab Kohli and Rehan Khan were also in important roles.
