Forbes India Rich List 2025: Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has topped the list of India’s 100 richest people according to the Forbes 2025 list. However, with a decline of 12 percent i.e. 14.5 billion dollars, his total net worth is currently 105 billion dollars.

With the weakening of rupee and 3 percent fall in Sensex in the past few days, the wealth of not only Mukesh Ambani but also of the 100 richest Indians included in the Forbes list has fallen by 9 percent to 1 trillion dollars. Gautam Adani at number two

Gautam Adani, the business tycoon of the infrastructure sector, is at second place in the list. His total net worth is 92 billion dollars. After a huge fall in shares after the disclosure of Hindenburg Report in the year 2023, now in September 2025, Adani Group founder and Chairman Gautam Adani got relief when market regulator SEBI said that the allegations of fraudulent transactions by American short seller Hindenburg Research could not be confirmed. Let us tell you that due to the claims made in the Hindenburg Report, there was a huge sale in the shares of Adani Group companies in 2023.
