India US relations: Differences are once again emerging between India and America regarding the purchase of crude oil from Russia. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has advocated ending the special exemptions and arrangements given by India on Russian oil imports as soon as possible. During the hearing of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he said that the Trump administration wants to soon end all those special arrangements and sanctions exemptions due to which countries like India are able to import oil from Russia.

This statement of Rubio has come at a time when the stance of America and Western countries regarding India’s energy policy has been changing several times during the Russia-Ukraine war. Due to this, an old dispute in India-US relations has once again raised its head.

The attitude of western countries kept changing after the Russia-Ukraine war.

After Russia launched an attack on Ukraine in February 2022, the US and its allies imposed several economic sanctions on Russia. During this period, on the one hand, western countries criticized India’s purchase of Russian oil at concessional rates, while on the other hand, they also accepted it on many occasions.

Experts believed that the presence of Russian oil in the global market through India proved helpful in controlling international energy prices. Due to this, on one hand the supply of oil remained intact, on the other hand, Russia had to sell oil at a price lower than the market price, which also affected its income.

Now again America is in strict mood

In recent times, America has once again started adopting a tough stance regarding Russian oil. Washington has been continuously claiming that it has received assurance from India to avoid additional purchases of Russian oil. However, India’s stand has been clear that all decisions related to energy procurement are taken keeping in mind national interest and energy security. New Delhi says that its primary responsibility is to meet the growing energy needs of the country.

Questions are being raised on double standards in India

Indian policy experts and analysts are raising questions regarding the continuous change in American stance. He says that when there was a fear of a rise in global oil prices, India’s purchase of Russian oil was said to be a step to stabilize the global market. But now the same purchase has become a matter of diplomatic trouble for America.

Last week, Marco Rubio himself had said that the purpose of the sanctions imposed on Russia is not to target India. This statement was seen as an attempt by the US to strike a balance between pressure on Russia and strategic partnership with India.

Should America have influence on India’s energy policy?

This entire controversy has raised a big question whether America should have the right to decide from where India buys oil for its energy needs. The US argues that Russian oil income finances Russia’s military activities. Therefore, international pressure on energy purchases is necessary to reduce Russia’s income. US officials believe that allies should not weaken the sanctions, which are aimed at limiting Russia’s combat capability.

India reiterated the principle of strategic autonomy

India says that it is a sovereign nation with a population of more than 140 crores, whose energy needs are huge. In such a situation, providing affordable and reliable energy is part of its economic and national priorities. The Indian leadership has been continuously emphasizing the policy of “strategic autonomy”. India has a clear view that no foreign power should have the right to decide how and where the country should meet its energy needs.

China’s issue also became a topic of discussion

The issue of China is also being raised again and again in this debate. Many analysts in India say that China still remains the largest buyer of Russian energy, but America appears to be relatively more cautious against it.

Experts believe that due to China’s global economic power and its hold on many important resources, America avoids taking drastic steps against it. In such a situation, a perception is being formed in India that rules and pressure are not applied equally on all countries, but are changed according to strategic and economic interests.

The question of strategic autonomy goes beyond oil

For India, this matter is no longer limited to oil imports only. It is being seen as a test of its ability to maintain an independent foreign and economic policy as a rising global power. Experts believe that India wants to maintain its strategic autonomy while maintaining strong relations with America. Therefore, as America increases pressure on Russian oil, New Delhi will repeat the same message that has been given since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Read this also: Claims to have defeated Eurofighter by 9-0 against Chinese J-10C fighter jet, Dragon is again spreading lies, read the full story.

Clear message from New Delhi

India’s public stance is clear that the country’s energy policy will be decided in New Delhi, not in Washington. India will continue to take decisions related to its oil imports keeping in mind energy security, national interest and economic needs. Amidst increasing pressure from America on purchasing oil from Russia, India has once again indicated that it is not in favor of compromising its strategic autonomy and energy security.

Yesterday Wednesday afternoon, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special plane landed at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, it was not just the beginning of a formal state visit. Exactly at 16:24:45 (IST) when he stepped on Israeli soil, the world saw how serious India is about its ‘Strategic Autonomy’. On one hand, America-Iran tension is at its peak, while on the other hand, this ‘warm’ meeting between Modi and Netanyahu gave a big message in the corridors of diplomacy.

This visit is taking place at a time when West Asia is standing at the cusp of a major change. Be it trade security challenges in the Red Sea or the new technological cold war, India has decided to take its relations with Israel to a new height.

Strategic Autonomy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets off the plane. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself goes beyond protocol and welcomes him. This was not just a formal meeting between two countries, but it was the moment when India entered a new and very impressive phase of its ‘Strategic Autonomy’.

That moment at 4:24 PM: Just a visit or deliberate diplomacy?

When we analyze the horoscope of that specific moment (25 February, 16:24:45), many subtle layers emerge which remain hidden in the general news headlines. Timing is never random in diplomacy. This ‘event chart’ not only indicates the success of this visit, but also draws a ‘silent but strong’ blueprint of India-Israel defense relations for the coming decades.

Cancer Ascendant: Impenetrable shield of protection and protection

At that time ‘Cancer ascendant’ (2°47′) was rising. If we look at the confluence of astrology and strategic science, Cancer is of the water element, whose basic nature is ‘protection’ and ‘security’.

This is not the horoscope of aggressive expansionism, rather it is the horoscope of ‘Consolidated Power’. The presence of the Ascendant in the initial degrees indicates that this journey is not for immediate demonstration, but to create a deep and permanent national security structure. India stands here with the aim of making its borders ‘impenetrable’.

Landed in Israel.

I am extremely honored to be received by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Mrs. Netanyahu at the airport. I look forward to engaging in bilateral discussions and fruitful outcomes that strengthen the India-Israel friendship.@netanyahu pic.twitter.com/FYGDv0M3Xy

Lagnesh Chandrama: India’s ‘relevant and practical’ policy

The lord of Cancer ascendant is Moon, which is currently ‘exalted’ in Taurus and is situated in the profit (11th) house. According to astrological calculations, when the ascendant is exalted in the profit house, it indicates ‘equal level partnership’.

This situation makes it clear that India has entered this dialogue not as a ‘dependent’ but as a ‘strong and pragmatic’ partner. The exalted Moon gives stability to the leadership so that they can keep their national interests paramount amidst global pressures.

Eighth House Activation: The ‘Deep-State’ and Strategic Depth

The most subtle and serious secrets of this horoscope are hidden in the equations of its 7th and 8th houses. In diplomacy, the seventh house is of ‘open partnership’, but at this time the seventh house is quiet and the entire energy is concentrated in the eighth house.

Confluence of five planets: A rare strategic situation

In Aquarius, the gathering of Sun, Mars, Rahu, Mercury and Venus is situated in the eighth house. This is not an ordinary planetary position. The eighth house is associated with change, secret strategy, defense restructuring and ‘deep-tech’.

The presence of so many influential planets here indicates that what is being discussed in public announcements (press releases), the real work is happening much deeper at the level of intelligence system, nuclear security and defense structure.

New model of defense cooperation: thinking beyond weapons

Aquarius is the sign of innovation and future-oriented technological thinking. The presence of Mars (military power) and Rahu (modern technology) here indicates an epochal change in the defense paradigm of India.

Laser Defense and Future Wars

The biggest achievement of this journey is ‘Co-development’. Israel’s advanced ‘anti-drone’ systems and especially ‘Iron Beam’ (laser missile defence) technology are now going to be a part of India’s defense ecosystem. This will put India in the list of select countries which will have the power of ‘Directed Energy Weapons’.

Cyber Sovereignty and Digital Security

The presence of Mercury (Data) and Rahu (Cyber sector) in the eighth house ensures that India and Israel together are creating a security shield for future ‘Invisible Wars’. In today’s era, wars are fought not only on borders, but on banking servers, coding of power grids and satellite links.

Saturn’s Balance: A Masterclass of ‘Multi-Alignment’

In this horoscope, Saturn is in Pisces (inclination towards 9th house). The ninth house is of foreign policy, high principles and global outlook.

Strategic Autonomy
This place of Saturn provides ‘patience and discipline’ to India. This shows that India will maintain its independent foreign policy without coming under the pressure of any one pole (like America or Russia). Amidst the current tensions in West Asia, India has maintained its neutrality well by standing with Israel.

Economic and technological expansion: not limited to weapons only
Often the Israel visit is seen only through the prism of defense deals, but the Moon in the 11th house and Venus in the 8th are telling a different story.

Agro-Tech Revolution: Israel’s ‘Precision Farming’ technology is laying the foundation for a permanent solution to India’s agricultural crisis.

Innovation and Startup Ecosystem: The presence of Venus in the eighth house indicates large investments and joint research in startups and ‘quantum computing’.

Risks and Challenges: Presence of Rahu and Narrative War

The position of Rahu in the eighth house indicates ‘information warfare’. There will be efforts to misinterpret this visit at the global level. India will have to give the message through its ‘public diplomacy’ that this partnership is not ‘against’ anyone, but for ‘global security and prosperity’.

Shatruhanta Yoga: Strategic Guarantee of Ashtakavarga
When we go into the subtle parts of the horoscope, the number 41 appears in the sixth house (house of enemies and obstacles) in Ashtakvarga analysis. Its direct strategic meaning is that India’s security wall has become so strong that no proxy war or propaganda of regional rivals will be able to derail India’s progress.

India moving towards structure rather than noise

The horoscope of February 25, 2026, 4:24 PM does not say that the results will be available at that very moment. It says that India’s strategic direction has changed forever. This visit is such a ‘silent structuring’ that will safeguard India’s defense and technological interests for the coming 20 years.

Cancer ascendant guaranteed security.

The exalted Moon strengthened the practical benefits.

The five planets of the eighth house prepared the basis for technical restructuring.

Saturn in the ninth house maintained balance in international diplomacy.

Ultimately, the biggest changes come not from big announcements, but from quiet and deep structural processes. India is no longer just a spectator on the global stage, it has emerged as a ‘Strategic Architect’ of future warfare technology.

FAQ: Key Strategic Questions

1. Will this visit bring any major change in regional security equations?
Yes. India’s growing ‘deep-tech’ and intelligence partnerships will pose a major technological challenge to adversaries.

2. What is the main technological advantage from Israel?
The main benefit lies in ‘co-production’. This includes encryption, space-based surveillance and next generation missile defense systems.

3. Will there be any impact on India’s ‘Strategic Autonomy’?
No. Saturn, the 9th in the horoscope, shows that India is further expanding its ability to take decisions independently.

4. What impact will this visit have on the common Indian citizen?
This will ensure security of your digital assets (Cyber Security) and better food security through agro-tech.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and a well-known face of Pakistani politics, has strongly criticized the Shehbaz Sharif-led government. This criticism has been made regarding the Afghanistan extremist issue. He questioned the way this issue was handled. Also told why his Afghan policy failed so badly?

We never wanted to ask, why did our Afghan policy fail?

According to Ariananews, while addressing a gathering on Sunday, Maulana Rehman said that in these decades, we never wanted to ask why our Afghan policy failed miserably? Not a single pomegranate or melon can enter Pakistan, but terrorists keep crossing the border. Terrorists are coming from there, so stop them. If they are coming, eliminate them. The Afghan government has never expressed any objection to your work.

Policies are so unsuccessful that India is our enemy, China is angry with us: Maulana Rehman

Rahman also raised questions and criticized the foreign policy there in a harsh manner. Besides, the economic policies were also described as a complete failure. He said that the policies are so unsuccessful that India is our enemy. Afghanistan is our enemy. Iran and China are also angry with us. Also stressed that the people of Pakistan want answers in this matter.

No country can survive without policies: Maulana Rehman

He also said that no country can survive without policies. Certainly not on those policies which create alienation, distrust and insecurity. Apart from this, he accused Pakistan’s foreign policies to be decided by the army and not by the government. He said that one general comes and says we will talk, another comes and says we will fight.

He also criticized the stalling of the CPEC economic corridor project between China and Pakistan. He said that it had come to a standstill during the tenure of Imran Khan. But what has the present government done about this? Today China is unhappy with Pakistan.

Donald Trump on Venezuela Stance: US President Donald Trump has once again expressed his changing stance regarding Venezuela. He said that Venezuela, for example, opened its prisons to the United States, and that was one reason why he felt so hard against Venezuela in the first place. But now he is liking Venezuela because he says that the government there is working very well with America.

Trump said that due to joint work, oil companies are preparing for big investments in Venezuela and he also claimed that Venezuela has more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia.

Said this about Maria Corona Machado

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corona Machado a few days ago gave her Nobel Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump for supporting Venezuelan independence, meanwhile Trump praised Machado and said that she is a very good woman and he wants her to be included in Venezuelan affairs. Trump said, “Maria Corona Machado did a wonderful job a few days ago. Maybe we can include her in this. I would like to do that.”

Nobel Foundation had issued a statement

After this offer from Machado, the Nobel Foundation made it clear that the Nobel Prize cannot be transferred or distributed to anyone else. Earlier, the Nobel Institute had also issued a statement that the laureate (award winner) cannot share the award with others nor can it be transferred after it is declared.

On Sunday (November 30), just a day before the winter session of Parliament, the government called an all-party meeting, in which leaders of all major political parties participated. In this meeting held in the Parliament House, the opposition presented the issues of its agenda before the government, in which topics like Delhi blasts, Special Revision Process (SIR) of voter list, foreign policy concerns and national security were prominent. The government presented its priorities and appealed for cooperation in the smooth conduct of the session.

15 meetings, shortest session? Opposition’s question

The winter session will start from Monday and continue till December 19. This time the session will be of only 15 meetings, which is much less than the normal 20 meetings. Congress alleged that the government wants to ‘derail’ Parliament by keeping the session short.

Rijiju appealed for peaceful discussion

Before the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju held separate talks with the leaders of all the parties. He said, “It is winter season, hopefully everyone will work with a cool mind. There should be debate, but not disruption. A calm atmosphere will be beneficial for the country and Parliament will run smoothly.”

“The government is burying parliamentary traditions”

After the all-party meeting, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi alleged that the central government was deliberately shortening the session. He said, “Discussion is possible only for 15 days in the total session of 19 days. Perhaps this will be the shortest winter session ever. It seems that the government itself wants to derail the Parliament.” He further said, “This government is engaged in burying the traditions of Parliament. That is why the opposition is united. Tomorrow we will have a meeting with Kharge ji.”

What issues does the opposition want discussed?

Gogoi enumerated six major demands of the opposition, which included-

1. Debate on Delhi blasts- He said that this is a sign of failure of security agencies.

2. Democratic Security- Review of voter lists, election security and SIR process.

3. Health Security- Emergency discussion on increasing pollution across the country.

4. Economic security- Detailed debate on inflation and employment.

5. Natural security- Demand for discussion regarding climate crisis.

6. Foreign Policy- The opposition alleges that India is running its foreign policy on the terms of other countries.

List of 14 bills ready for Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha

The government has prepared a list of 14 bills for the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

1. Public Trust (Amendment) Bill, 2025
2. Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (IBC)
3. Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2025- To replace the Ordinance
4. Repealing and Amending Bill, 2025
5. National Highways (Amendment) Bill, 2025
6. Atomic Energy Bill, 2025
7. Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2025
8. Securities Markets Code Bill (SMC), 2025
9. Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2025
10. Health Security Cess/National Security Cess Bill, 2025
14. Demand for First Supplementary Grant for the year 2025-26 (Financial Business)

Which big leaders attended the all party meeting

Top leaders of many parties attended the all-party meeting. On behalf of the government, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal were present. BJP President and Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha J.P. Nadda also attended the meeting.

The winter session of Parliament will start from December 1 and continue till December 19. A total of 15 working days have been scheduled in this period. Describing the session as relatively short, the opposition has demanded detailed and in-depth discussion on many important issues.
For the first time in history, Japan has exported its indigenously made Patriot missile interceptor to America. Their number has not been disclosed at present. This step is considered not just a military deal, but a major change in Japan’s decades-old defense policy. Japanese media has claimed quoting defense sources.

According to Kyodo News Agency, this export has become possible under the new rules which Japan implemented in December 2023. These rules partially relaxed many restrictions on arms export. With this, Japan can now send complete weapon systems to licensed countries. Before this, Japan could only sell parts.

capable of teaching a lesson to enemies

These missiles sent to America are Patriot PAC-3 interceptors. It is capable of destroying enemy weapons like ballistic and cruise missiles in the air itself. This missile system is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan under American license.

Japan says that this export is to fill the stock of America’s army. In the last few years, due to Ukraine conflict, America has been continuously providing missile support to its allies. The pressure on its reserves is increasing. In this background, Japanese supplies will help strengthen American defense preparedness.

America will not be able to send these missiles to third countries

The Japanese government has also clarified that these missiles are only for America’s use. Washington will not send them to any third country. This decision is important because the people of Japan and its politics have been very sensitive about arms export for a long time.

After World War I, Japan adopted a “defense only” policy, under which the export of weapons abroad was almost completely prohibited. Therefore this deal became possible after a lot of political discussion.

Debate on changing policy intensifies in Japan

This policy change has also intensified the debate within Japan. Supporters say that Japan will have to strengthen its role amidst the changing security environment, China’s increasing military activities, North Korea’s continuous missile tests and instability in the Asia-Pacific region. According to him, sending missiles to America makes the Japan-America security partnership more reliable. Strengthens the joint defense strategy of both the countries.

Opponents argue that this move could unnecessarily involve Japan in international conflicts. Could weaken its identity as a “peaceful nation”. He says that even though the missiles are not being sent for direct use in war, this start can open the way for export of bigger weapons in future, which is contrary to the traditional policies of the country.

Despite this, the government believes that this change is the need of the hour in view of the current global security situation. For Japan, this is not just the expansion of the defense industry but also an effort to strengthen its strategic position.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that the growing closeness between Washington and Pakistan will not affect America’s strong partnership with India. Rubio clarified that America’s objective is not to limit relations with Pakistan only to anti-terrorism cooperation, but also to work towards increasing partnership at the economic and strategic levels.

‘The relationship with India is deep and historic’- US Secretary of State
Rubio said in the press briefing, ‘Our relationship with India is deep, historic and very important. Our talks with Pakistan are not happening at India’s expense. He said that America is adopting a practical foreign policy, in which it is simultaneously strengthening relations with many countries. India is a very mature country and it understands that we need to maintain relations with different countries.

‘Want to rebuild alliance with Pakistan’
The US Secretary of State said that America is trying to form a new strategic alliance with Pakistan. He said, ‘We are willing to work with Pakistan. We know there will be challenges, but we are looking for opportunities to see which issues we can work together on. Rubio also said that the US and Pakistan have a long partnership in counter-terrorism cooperation, and now Washington wants to take it forward.

‘India’s concern is natural, but we will maintain balance’
When asked whether India has expressed concern over America’s growing closeness to Pakistan, Rubio said, ‘India’s concern is natural because there has been tension between the two countries for a long time. But India understands that America has to maintain relations with many countries. He said that India itself maintains relations with countries from which America is distant, hence this is a part of mature diplomacy.

New warmth in America-Pakistan relations
In recent times, relations between America and Pakistan have strengthened rapidly. America has signed an agreement with Pakistan on important mineral partnership, under which an investment of 500 million dollars will be made. Apart from this, both the countries have also agreed on oil reserves and trade expansion.

Trump praised Pak PM and Army Chief
On Sunday, US President Donald Trump praised Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir, calling them ‘excellent people’. Trump also recently claimed that he saved millions of lives by preventing a possible war between India and Pakistan. This statement has come at a time when a new turn is being seen in the relations between America and Pakistan.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said on Monday (October 6) that the world is going through a period of major changes and rising competition at this time. He warned that ‘everything used as a weapon’ is increasing ‘and at such a time India will have to move forward by strengthening its strategy. Emphasizing the ‘Nebarhood First’ policy, he said that India will have to become a ‘go-to option’ in this entire subcontinent in case of any crisis.

Increasing instability and competition in the world
Jaishankar said that today the spirit against globalization is increasing in many societies of the world. Older equations of business are changing due to the instability of tariffs. He indirectly made this statement indicating US President Donald Trump’s ‘America First’ policy. The US has recently imposed many big tariffs on India, which has increased trade tension between the two countries.

India will have to become a reliable option in crisis
Jaishankar said, India will have to become the most trusted option in this subcontinent in the event of any crisis. He said that India would have to be a part of a large strategic block to maintain global balance. He described the current time as a period of making weapons.

Instability in neighboring countries, challenge before India
He said that India’s neighborhood is in a very critical state at this time. Relationships with Pakistan are constantly tense, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal have also seen political instability and protests in recent months. Jaishankar said that in such an environment, India will have to move forward keeping its policies strong.

Agreement with America, but no compromise on ‘red line’
Jaishankar bluntly said that India will make any business agreement with the US only when its ‘Red Lines’ ie Agriculture and Dairy sector is not allowed without any restriction of foreign goods. He said that the strategic loss that India had suffered from partition will now have to be filled.

India’s strategy for 2047
Speaking at the Aravali Summit organized on the subject of ‘India and the World Order: Preparaing for 2047’ at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jaishankar said that India’s growth strength is demand, population and data. He said that we have to prepare our ideas, vocabulary and native for the 2047 journey so that India can play a leading role in the global system.

The news of Russia supplying the RD-93MA engine to Pakistan for JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter aircraft has intensified the political stir in India. Congress and BJP have come face to face on this issue and there is sharp rhetoric between the two parties.

Congress accused

Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh attacked the central government and said that if Russia, who was once the most trusted strategic partner in India, is now giving advanced engine to Pakistan, then it is the failure of the Modi government’s foreign policy. He said, “The Modi government should clarify that Russia, which has been our traditional ally, is now providing technical help to Pakistan. This engine will be installed in JF-17 Block-III aircraft. The advanced version of the same model which used PL-15 missiles against India during Operation Sindoor.”

Jairam Ramesh also added that India still continues to talk about the S-400 missile system and SU-57 Stealth Fighter from Russia, which shows the government’s image-based diplomacy failure.

Did BJP spokesperson Amit Malviya say?

BJP spokesperson Amit Malviya described the allegations of the Congress as “false and misleading”. He said that Russia has clearly rejected all such claims. In his X (East Twitter) post, Malaviya wrote, “Russia has denied the news of the engine supply to Pakistan. Jairam Ramesh has formed the basis of a website report that is known to spread the pro-Pakistan propaganda. Neither official confirmation, no reliable source, just one more news.” He further said that the Congress seems to be standing in favor of the enemy instead of the national interest by spreading such rumors repeatedly and is part of the “Information War”.

At present, the engine supply to Pakistan has not been confirmed by Russia any official means. But this entire controversy has definitely given rise to a new debate on India’s foreign policy and relations with Russia.
