During this time, the main ring road of Paris also remained closed for some time due to protesters and crowd. Later the police cleared the road and restored traffic. According to officials, a bakery and a restaurant were also damaged. Apart from this, about 1,000 people had gathered in the 16th arrondissement near PSG’s stadium. The police controlled the crowd there too and removed the temporary barricades installed.

Paris was already on high alert to deal with any untoward situation. Around 8,000 policemen were deployed across the city. Last year too, in May, there was massive celebration after PSG’s European success. More than 500 people were arrested across France at that time. According to media reports, two people were killed, about 200 people were injured and more than 500 people were arrested across France during the celebrations after PSG’s victory in 2025. France has returned three human skulls to Madagascar, one of which is considered by the 19th -century Malagasi king Toira, who was from the Sakalawa tribe. This return came after 128 years, when these skulls were brought to France.

In August 1897, French soldiers killed King Toraira of Madagascar and beheaded him. His skull was then taken to Paris as a sign of a victory and placed in the National Prakrit History Museum with many other remains.
