There is great news for the youth who dream of preparing for civil services from Delhi. The worries about studies, guidance and accommodation are going to reduce now. The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) of Jamia Millia Islamia has announced the date of online application for the Civil Services Coaching Program 2026-27. Applications will start from April 1, 2026 and interested students can fill the form by visiting the official portal admission.jmi.ac.in.

This coaching is completely free and hostel facility is also provided to stay in it. This opportunity is especially for minority, SC, ST and women candidates, so that they can prepare for UPSC without financial pressure.

Entrance exam will be held on June 6

The written examination for admission to RCA will be conducted on 6 June 2026. This examination will be held in 13 cities of the country, which include Delhi, Jaipur, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Calicut and Ranchi. This will make it easier for students from far-flung areas to take the exam.

  Exam Pattern and Selection Process

  The written examination will be on the pattern of UPSC. There will be two papers General Studies (Objective) and Essay Writing. Both the papers can be given in Hindi, English or Urdu. There will be 60 questions in the first paper, each question will be of one mark. One-third marks will be deducted for wrong answer. It will also include questions like CSAT.

  The second paper will be of essay, in which two essays will have to be written, totaling 60 marks. The total duration of the examination will be three hours. The special thing is that essay copies of only 900 students selected on the basis of the first paper will be checked. Students successful in the written examination will be called for offline interview, which will be of 30 marks.

  100 seats

  A total of 100 seats are available under this program. It will be necessary for selected students to stay in hostel. There is also a 24-hour air conditioned library facility, so that students can study without interruption.

Jamia Millia Islamia coaching 2026: Big news has come for the candidates who should prepare for Civil Services. Online applications for Civil Services Coaching Program 2026-27 are going to start in the Residential Coaching Academy of Jamia Millia Islamia. Students can apply through the official website of the university. According to the notice issued by the university, this coaching program is for minority ST, SC and women candidates. In which hostel facility will also be provided along with free coaching. The last date of application has been fixed as 26 May 2026.

Entrance Exam and Selection Process

All India Entrance Test will be conducted for admission to this course. The examination will be held on June 6, 2026, which will consist of two papers. The first paper will be of General Studies which will be objective type, while the second paper will be of essay writing. Both the papers will be completed in a total of 3 hours and negative marking will also be applicable. Candidates selected on the basis of examination will be called for interview. The interviews will be conducted in July 2026 and the final result is likely to be released by August 7, 2026.

Important date related to applicant

Online applications will start from April 1, 2026, while the last date for submission of applications is May 6. After this, a chance for correction in the form will be given on 29th and 30th May. The written examination will be held on June 6 and the result can be released by July 10. The interviews will be held from 16th to 31st July and the final exam result will be declared by 7th August 2026.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates who have completed graduation and are eligible to appear in the Civil Services Examination 2027 can apply for this program. Candidates who are studying in any other regular course or are in any job will not be eligible for this. The selected students will be given preparation for General Studies, CSAT and optional subjects. Along with this, facilities like test series, answer key, essay writing, practice and mock interview will also be provided. The library will also be open 24 hours for students.

Information related to seats and fees

A total of 100 seats are available under this program. It will be mandatory for selected candidates to stay in hostel. Although the coaching is free, a security deposit of Rs 7000 will have to be deposited at the time of admission, which will be refundable. Apart from this, hostel maintenance and mess charges will have to be paid separately. Candidates can apply online for this course from April 1 by visiting the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia admission.jmi.ac.in. The fee for application has been fixed at Rs 1325.
