A freight train accident at Kiul Junction under Danapur division of East Central Railway in Lakhisarai. Three boxes of goods train got down from the track. It is a matter of honor that this accident happened at one o’clock on Monday night, although there is no loss of life and property.

The car was going to the yard to vacate the goods

According to Jankari, there was cement load in the goods train. The car was being taken to the yard to evacuate the goods in Kiul. After the accident, traffic on the down line of Lakhisarai-Kiul railway block was affected. A railway official said that the incident took place at one o’clock late night. The incident took place due to the wheel of the goods train being damaged.

At present, officers have reached the spot from Danapur division. The work of repair is going on. Technicians including DRM from Danapur division of East Central Railway are present at the accident site. The railway official said that the goods train was coming on the down line. Three bogies fell below the track from the middle of the train.

Damaged goods train boxes are being removed

However, a big accident was averted. If there was a day, there could have been a loss of life and property. A large number of laborers live here for cement unload. The accident took place at the railway track point. Railway officials at Kiul railway station said that soon the traffic of the freight train damaged from the yard will be smooth.

No casualties occurred in the accident

However, there was no reported casualties of any person in the accident, but the Railways has suffered heavy economic losses. The functioning of the loading yard has been affected due to the overturning and derailment of the coaches. According to the local people, such incidents have been revealed earlier, but no concrete measures have been taken by the Railways.

On receiving information about the incident, high officials of the railway reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Relief and repair works have been started on a war footing. At the same time, the locals gathered in large numbers at the scene. This incident has once again exposed the railway security arrangements, and only after investigation it will be clear whether the accident occurred due to human omission or technical flaw.
