India has big preparations regarding space i.e. space mission. The Indian government is planning to take a human mission to the moon by 2040. To prepare for this, many more vehicles will go to space in the coming time.

During the winter session, Dr. Thol Thirumavalavan, the current president of Tamil Nadu’s Liberation Panthers Party and MP from Chidambaram Lok Sabha constituency, asked questions to the government regarding the space mission. Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh answered his question. He told that India is planning to land humans on the moon by 2040.

India’s space station module ready
He told that ISRO has prepared the module of indigenous Indian space station consisting of five modules. It is expected to be fully active by 2035. This entire module has been reviewed by the national level review committee.

He said that in September 2024, the Cabinet had approved the development and launch of the first module of the Indian Space Station (BAS-01) by 2028. Activities on BAS 01 module are progressing well. In these, work is going on technological development of engineering systems and many sub-systems.

The budget allocation for many previous missions, including the development and launch of BAS-1, has been kept in the Gaganyaan programme. The reason for this has been increased to Rs 20,193 crore in 2024.

Base module may be ready by 2028
The target to complete the development and launch of its base module (BAS-01) has been set by 2028. The BAS with 5 modules is targeted to be ready for operation by 2035.

International standards are being taken care of
He said that ISRO is incorporating international standards in the design of BAS-01 sub-systems. This can ensure interoperability of BAS-01. Apart from this, support and cooperation of other space agencies is also being sought. These also include uses for technical development and testing for the Indian human space programme.

Gaganyaan is the first manned mission
Gaganyaan is India’s first manned mission. Which will be able to safely take humans to the lower Earth orbit (LEO), and will also ensure their return. Indian Space Station (BAS) is a big step into the future. This will open the doors to a new world full of mysteries in space. This will also support Indian human exploration missions (such as Indian landing on the Moon) as envisioned in India’s Space Vision 2047.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor praised the International Space Station (ISS) mission of Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla on Monday (August 18, 2025). He described it as an “powerful symbol” of India’s human space flight ambitions and an important part of the upcoming Gaganyaan program.

Tharoor’s statement on the absence of opposition
Tharoor said, “Since the opposition is not participating in a particular discussion, I want to say that all Indians are proud of Commander Shubhanshu Shukla’s recent ISS mission. It is an important step towards our country’s Gaganyaan Human Space Flight Program.”

Opposition shied away from session
Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju had appealed to the opposition parties to attend the special discussion on Shukla’s mission and India’s space program in the Lok Sabha. However, many opposition leaders did not attend this session demanding a discussion on alleged voter fraud.

1/3 Since the opption is not participating in the special discussion, let me say how proud all Indians are of the recent mission of community shubhanshu shukla to the interactive space station (Iss). It served as a stepping stone to our nation’s oven human spaceflight… https://t.co/y1bwqcceg6

– Shashi Tharoor (@Shashitharoor) August 18, 2025

ISRO got precious experience
Tharoor said that Shukla’s flight gave the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) such an invaluable direct experience and data that cannot be achieved in simulation. This includes understanding of spacecraft systems, projection procedures, and direct experience of psychological and physical effects of microscravity. He said that this experience will be very important in making Gaganyaan Mission safe and better.

Scientific and technical benefits
During this mission, Indian systems and protocols were tested in the actual environment of space. This also led to scientific conclusions-such as human health studies and uses on plant growth-which will shape life-support and medical systems for future Indian space flights.

Diplomatic importance
Emphasizing the diplomatic aspect of the mission, Tharoor said that it is a milestone in “global space diplomacy”. This proved to be the preparation of India’s multilateral cooperation and opened new avenues of joint research and investment.

Inspiration for youth
Tharoor said that the historic flight of Commander Shukla has given a strong symbol to India’s human space flight ambitions. It has inspired the new generation of the country to make a career in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and space studies, which is necessary for India’s long -term space goals.

The NASA-INRO Synthetic Apparel Satellite will be launched on Wednesday (July 30) for better assessment of dangers such as landslides and floods, along with monitoring soil moisture and vegetation on earth. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the American Space Agency NASA have tied-up for this mission.

NISAR Satellite will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Andhra Pradesh on 30 July 8:10 AM (Indian time). For this, spacecraft of pickup truck size will be used. After reaching the orbit of this satellite, its dual-frequency radar will revolve around the earth 14 times a day. This will scan all land and snow surfaces on the earth every 12 days. This will make it easier for scientists to monitor soil moisture. Along with this, threats like landslides and floods can be better assessed.

For this satellite, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has created a long-wavelend L-band radar. India’s Space Applications Center has built a short-wavelend S-band radar. From this dual-frequency design, NISAR is the first meaning satellite with two radar systems. The spacecraft with its launch vehicle has been integrated at the Satish Dhawan Space Center used for the launch of satellites in India.

Gaganyaan’s first trial to send humans into India’s space will be done by the end of this year. ISRO has started preparations for this. Recently, ISRO Chairman, V Narayanan had said that three -un -crew space missions will be tried from October this year. This will be followed by two crew trial missions. The country’s first Astronaut will fly in an orbital space flight in 2027. With the success of this mission, India will become the fourth country in the world to send Human Mission in Space. Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to the land on July 15 after spending more than two weeks at the International Space Station (ISS). He is the first Indian to visit ISS. However, he is the second person in the country to go to space after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma.

He is the first Indian to visit ISS. However, he is the second person in the country to go to space after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma.

The crew capsule of Spacex along with members of the Axiom-4 mission’s crew has landed 3 PM (according to Indian time) near San Diego on the banks of California in the US. This crew capsules have taken about 22.5 hours to return to Earth. The crew of this mission includes Shukla, apart from America’s peggy whitson, Slawosz Uznanski Wisniemski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the group caption Shukla on social media platform x Post “I welcome him with the country on the return of Group caption Shubhanshu Shukla to Earth in the space of Group caption, Shubhanshu Shukla. It is another milestone in the direction of our Human Space Flight Mission – Gaganyaan.”

Axiom Space, a American company associated with space exploration, said that it is a major achievement for India, Poland and Hungary with a scientific success. This is the first time in more than four decades that these countries have sent their astronauts into space and this is the first time when Astronauts of these countries have worked as well as living on ISS. India has paid a cost of about seven million dollars for this mission.

The crew of this mission has done many experiments on ISS. Seven of these experiments were led by Shukla. Along with these astronauts, a swan toy called Joy was also sent as his indicator of zero gravity. This mission can give the Indian Space Agency ISRO significant lessons for the preparation of Gaganyaan. Group caption Shukla and other crew members will be in medical rehabilitation for about a week to adjust themselves with gravity on earth. This crew has brought important scientific data with it.

A new history has been added to the history related to the country’s space on Thursday. Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who is involved in the Axiom-4 mission, has achieved a major success by reaching the International Space Station (ISS). The four -member crew of this mission includes Shukla, apart from the American Peggy Whitson, Slawosz Uznanski Wisniieski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary. India’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma made history by reaching space in 1984.

The Falcon 9 rocket of Spacex was launched on Wednesday at 12.01 PM with the Spacecon 9 rocket of Spacex from California’s Kennedy Space Center in the US on Wednesday. After about 29 hours of flight of this spacecraft, there is a docking with ISS on 4.01 on Thursday. After this docking, the crew and cargo of the Axiom-4 mission have reached ISS. Shukla has taken responsibility as a pilot of this mission. The ISS has more than 400 km from the US space agency NASA.

ISS is moving around the earth very fast and it takes about 90 minutes to complete an orbital cycle. The Dragon Spacecraft has to make considerable adjustments to synchronize its way of the orbit with the current position of ISS. For this, this spacecraft has roamed around the earth at least twice while changing its speed and path. This process is important for accurate and safe docking with ISS.

Axiom-4 mission crew members will do several experiments on ISS. Seven of these experiments will be led by Shukla. There is a participation of 31 countries in this mission, the NASA and the American Space Infrastructure Developer Axiom Space made strict preparations to bring this mission to ISS with security. For this, the launch of the mission was also postponed several times. Along with these astronauts, a Swain Toy called Joy has also been sent as his indicator of zero gravity. This mission can give the Indian Space Agency ISRO important lessons for the preparation of the country’s first Human Space Mission Gaganyaan.

Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla’s arrival in space has been averted. The reason for this is a leak during testing in the Falcon 9 booster of the Axiom-4 spaceflight. This mission is to be sent to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission includes the country’s Shubhanshu Shukla of the country, PEGY WHITSON of America, Slawosz Uznanski Wisniieski of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary.

These astronauts will also be sent to a swan toy called Joy as his indicator of zero gravity. The Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), V Narayanan said that this spaceflight has been postponed due to a Lox leak in Propulsion Bay during the Test. Technical experts of Spacex of Axiom Space and Billionaire Elon Musk have decided to fix it after discussing this problem. After this, information will be given on the next date of launch of this spaceflight. Operations and crew to this delay Security It is being seen as an important phase to meet the needs of.

The American Space Infrastructure Developer Axiom Space has reported that this is the first time in the last 40 years that the US government has approved a spaceflight with Astronauts in India, Poland or Hungary. India’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma made history by reaching space in 1984. However, Shukla will be the first Indian pilot of a spacecraft. In this mission, the responsibility of Mission Kamadar will be handled by America’s PEGY WHITSON. The four-member crew is in pre-launch Quarantine. This crew has made strict preparations for this mission. Shukla has taken long training abroad for this.

This team will do 60 scientific experiments during the mission on ISS. Seven of these experiments will be led by Shukla. There is a participation of 31 countries in this mission. These countries will contribute to Human Physiology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Materials Science and Biological Studies in Space. India can get significant learning for the country’s first Human Space Mission Gaganyaan. This will be a big moment in the history of space missions after the problem is resolved in Falcon 9 and completing the final tests. <!--

The first trial of Mission Gaganyaan to send humans to the country’s first space will be done by the end of this year. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has started preparations for this. Earlier this trial mission was to be done at the end of the previous year and in March this year.

ISRO Chairman, V Narayanan said that from October this year, three -crucified space missions will be tried. This will be followed by two crew trial missions. The country’s first Astronaut will fly in an orbital space flight in 2027. With the success of this mission, India will become the fourth country in the world to send Human Mission in Space. Group Captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair, Ajit Krishna and Angad Pratap as well as Wing Commander Shubanshu Shukla have been selected as Astronauts for Gaganyaan Mission.

Narayanan said that before the launch of Gaganyaan, in June this year, an Indian Astronaut will be part of the crew going to the International Space Station (ISS). This will give the Indian astronaut experience to understand and experiment in space. He said, “There has been a lot of progress about this mission. Ground infrastructure is being prepared for this. Training of astronauts is in the final stages.”

Recently, the central government approved ISRO for the Chandrayaan-5 mission. This mission can provide important information about the atmosphere and other conditions on the moon. India aims to send a human mission on the moon by 2040. Around 350 kg of rover can be used in Chandrayaan-5 mission. Japan’s cooperation will also be taken in this mission. Earlier ISRO has started preparations for the Chandrayaan-4 mission. In this mission, samples from the moon will be collected and brought to the earth. Last year, the Chandrayaan-4 mission was approved by the government. ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission was successful. Some important information related to the moon was obtained from this mission. The total load of Chandrayaan-4 will be around 9,200 kg. This is more than doubled compared to Chandrayaan-3. Due to its high size, the use of two launch vehicle mark-III (LVM 3) rockets will be necessary. <!--

The Chandrayaan-3 mission has a plan to launch the Chandrayaan-4 of India after the success of the mission. This will be an important step in the country’s space exploration efforts. The purpose of this mission will be to bring the sample back from the moon to the earth. This ambitious project will require at least two launch of LVM-3 rocket to carry five separate components.

This will be the country’s first attempt to bring a sample from the moon. This will increase India’s scientific and technical abilities in Space Research. Science and Technology Minister, Jitendra Singh said, “Chandrayaan-3 mission aims to bring samples back to the earth from the moon surface.” The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is preparing to launch some very important missions in the coming years. These include Gaganyaan Mission. In this mission, astronauts will be sent to low-end orbit. The Gaganyaan Mission is to be launched next year.

Recently ISRO launched its 100th mission. In this mission, navigation satellite was launched with a GSLV rocket from the spaceport of Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. It is the second satellite in the Indian subcontinent to provide accurate positions, valos and timings to users in the Navigation with the Indian Consultation (NAVIC) series. The Navic consists of five second generation satellite. NVS-02 is designed and developed by UR Satellite Center. Its weight is about 2,250 kg. It has navigation payloads in L1, L5 and S bands.

Like the previous satellite NVS-01, the C-band also has a ranging payload. Recently ISRO succeeded in achieving the ability of space docking. After the US, Russia and China, India has become the fourth country to gain this ability. The major goals of the ISRO’s Spadex Mission, launched at the end of the previous year, included the Space Docking Process. This ability is essential for future human and special missions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated ISRO’s team on this big success. Modi had said that this is an important step for the country’s ambitious space missions in the coming years. <!--

Astronaut Sunita Williams, trapped at the International Space Station (ISS) for the past several months, may return to the Earth next month. The American Space Agency NASA has reported that the crew-10 mission for ISS is a target to launch on March 12 instead of 25 March. Williams’ fellow Astronaut butch Wilmore will also be brought to this mission.

The NASA has said that the crew-10 mission will use the spacecraft enduration of Spacex, which has taken the first flying instead of the new spacecraft. NASA and Billionaire Elon Musk’s company Spacex is assessing its hardware to ensure the safety and certification of this spacecraft. Earlier, Endurance has completed three missions-Crew-3, Crew-5 and Crew-7. Steve stich, the manager of NASA commercial crew program, has said that a strong partnership between NASA and Spacex has been helped in implementing the upcoming mission plan.

In June last year, Williams and Wilmore arrived on ISS through Boeing’s Starliner Spacecraft on only eight days mission. However, the technical problem in Starlineer made it difficult for Williams and Wilmore to return. Starlineer Spacecraft was finding it difficult to reach ISS. The leak of helium from this spacecraft was a big difficulty. ISS was commanded by Astronaut Oleg Kononenko of Russia to Williams. Williams are monitoring various types of functioning and research as commander of ISS.

A few months ago, Williams shared his views on the delay in returning to Earth at a video press conference. He described ISS as a ‘happy place’. Williams said that due to his previous experience, adjustment about life in space is not difficult. The current situation is for better. Williams had admitted that her stay on ISS has some tension but she is focusing on the mission. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) had said that such challenges facing the NASA would be important for the country’s ambitious Gaganyaan mission. For this mission, ISRO recently started assembling Human Rated Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (HLVM3). <!--
