If you are going to establish Bappa on Ganesh Chaturthi, then bring Ganapati home of soil. Keep in mind that Ganesh ji’s trunk is on the right side, Ganesha sitting, as well as a rat should be made.

Once the idol of Lord Ganesha is installed, do not remove it from there. The idol can be removed only at the time of immersion from there.

At the time of the establishment of Ganesh ji, keep in mind that the idol should not face towards the door. Ganapati establishment is considered auspicious, Brahma place, east direction and north east angles. Do not establish in South and South by mistake.

Many people establish Ganpati for 1, 3, 5 or 10 days, for the number of days Ganesh ji is enthroned in the house and offer them in the morning and evening.

As long as Bappa is in the house, do not leave the house deserted, nor do darkness at the installation place. Clean up daily, do not bring tamasic food to the house, nor accept it.

While bringing Bappa home or buying his idol, pay special attention to that his idol is not broken. Worshiping the fragmented idol is forbidden.
