An attempt was made to spoil the atmosphere amidst the Garba Festival on Navratri festival in Thane district of Maharashtra. A shocking incident came to light in Kashigaon area of ​​Meera Road East on Tuesday (September 30). A person was accused of throwing eggs during a public garba festival at the famous JP North Garden City Society, after which there was tremendous resentment among the citizens.

The incident is said to be held between 10:30 and 11 pm. It is alleged that a person named Mohsin Khan, a resident of Estella Building, first reached the Garba site on the pretext of checking the decibel level and recorded a video from mobile. After this, he had also complained to the police and appealed to stop the program. Later, the charge threw eggs at the festival from the 16th floor, which worsened the atmosphere.

Citizens reached the police station in large numbers

When two women policemen found a broken egg, the anger of the people erupted and a large number of citizens reached Kashigaon police station directly. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police have registered a case against Mohsin Khan.

Investigation starts after FIR

The police have registered a case under Section 300 of the Code of Justice of India (BNS) and started investigation. Also, to control the situation, additional police forces have also been deployed in the society premises and nearby.

During the Garba program in the new city police station area of ​​Bikaner, the dispute between the two parties increased so much that even the stone pelting increased. Police officers and local people have also been injured in this incident. This event of Garba program was near the residence of MLA Jethanand Vyas.

MLAs were also present on the spot during the uproar. He tried to calm down and the situation came under control, but it became difficult to stop the chaos and quarrels.

The injured have been sent to the nearest hospital for primary treatment. The police immediately took action in view of the seriousness of the case and detained four-five people.

Bikaner police has started investigating the case. Police officials said that those detained are being questioned and the exact cause of the incident is being ascertained. Also, in such events in future, there is also talk of safety and tightening.

This is not the first case in Bikaner. For the last few years, incidents of quarrels and molestation have been increasing during the Garba program in the city. Experts and common people also express concern about this increasing violence and say that cultural events like Garba are no longer in a safe environment.

MLA Jethanand Vyas was also present on the spot during the incident. He appealed to the people not to keep the situation calm and not to dispute with each other. The MLA said that the purpose of such a program should only be entertainment and community unity, not controversy or violence.

Police has said that legal action will be taken in the case and strict steps will be taken against those who are found involved in violence and stone pelting. In addition, additional police force will be deployed to increase security in the next events.
