Who is organizing GATE 2026?

Application fee

The application fee for women, SC, ST and PWD candidates is Rs 1000, while for other candidates it is Rs 2000. If a candidate applies with late fees, then women/SC/ST/PWD candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 and other candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2500.

Required documents

Before applying for GATE 2026, candidates will have to keep some documents ready, passport size photo, digital signature, valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card or passport), category certificate (if applied), PWD or Dyslexic Certificate (if applied) and degree or eligibility certificate.

The application process is completely online. Candidates will first have to visit gate2026.Iitg.ac.in. Click on the link “GATE 2026 Registration” on the homepage and register with your valid email ID and mobile number.
