Harshit Rana made his international cricket debut in November 2024 in the match against Australia. After that he has taken a total of 25 wickets in 8 ODIs, five T20s and 2 Test matches.

He has also impressed in batting on Australia tour. In the third ODI match, he played an unbeaten inning of 24 runs. In the second T20 match, he demonstrated his batting skills strongly by playing an inning of 35 runs.
