Australian female cricketer Ashley Gardner has been accused of cheating. Gardner’s wife Monica Wright has accused him of having an affair with fellow player Georgia Wall. Gardner was recently seen playing in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, where she scored 150 runs in 6 matches. Australia has become T20 World Champion for the seventh time.

This matter came to light when a report in Daily Mail claimed that Australian cricketer Ashley Gardner’s marriage has broken because she was cheating on her wife by having an affair with a fellow player. No one was named in this report, but Monica Wright shared Georgia Wall’s picture on her Instagram story and clearly wrote in the caption that, because of this woman, Gardner cheated on her.

Crack in relationship during World Cup

The Daily Mail report claimed that during the Women’s ODI World Cup hosted by India and Sri Lanka last year, the relationship between Gardner and Wright started to deteriorate. Monica Wright had gone to India during the World Cup and when the Australian team returned to their country, Gardner told Wright that something had changed in their relationship, after which their marriage broke up after some time.

Before their separation, both were thinking of expanding their family, but in November last year, Ashley Gardner had shifted to her Sydney home and left the wedding ring there.
