Government gave assurance: Wangchuk

After ending the hunger strike, Wangchuk further said, ‘The ministers from the government also gave this assurance. Talks were going on for two days that the assurance should be in writing. This process took two days, due to which I had to fast for two additional days. Finally, written assurance has been received from the government. Sonam Wangchuk has said that she got assurance from the government and MPs of all political parties that the issue of accountability on the issue of deteriorating examination system will be discussed in the Indian Parliament. The government also assured that due compensation will be given to the families of those who committed suicide due to the recent exam paper leak and no case will be registered against the students and youth who were protesting peacefully.

CJP adamant on Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) said that CJP’s agitation will continue until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said that he was continuously appealing to Sonam Wangchuk to end her fast, because her health was continuously deteriorating.
