Mount Everest Base Camp Trek, situated at an altitude of 5364 meters, is one of the most famous routes in the world. The oxygen level here is about 50 percent lower than sea level, which makes breathing difficult. Cold and snow storms can come here suddenly. Still, views like Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse make it memorable.

Situated at an altitude of 5545 meters, Kala Patthar Trek is known for the most spectacular view of Everest. But here too lack of oxygen, cold winds and high climb make this journey very dangerous. Most trekkers reach here at sunrise to see the view of Everest.

The Drakensberg Traverse located in South Africa is a 200 km long trek. This trek is famous for rugged mountain roads, steep rocks and changing weather. There is no marked trail here, so both GPS and experience are necessary to go here. The area is also known for the Tugela Falls and ancient rock paintings dating back 3000 years.

Huayuwash Circuit, called the Everest Trek of South America, is at an altitude of 5000 meters and is spread over 130 to 170 kilometers. Here glaciers, steep climbs and icy rivers make the path more dangerous. Apart from this, the danger of landslides and hypothermia always remains here.

Annapurna Circuit located in Nepal is 160 to 230 kilometers long. This trek revolves around the tenth highest mountain in the world. There is always a danger of snowy peaks, narrow roads and landslides here. This route becomes even more dangerous due to sudden change in weather and lack of oxygen at high altitude.

All four seasons can be seen in a single day on the Torres del Paine W trek in Patagonia. Strong winds and suddenly rising glacial river waters make the trek most dangerous. This 75 kilometer long trek is considered suitable only for experienced trekkers.
