Gold Price Today: There is a rise in gold prices in the domestic future market on Tuesday, January 6. Gold futures with expiry of February 5, 2026 opened at Rs 1,38,666 (per 10 grams) on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday. On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,38,120.

At 9:50 am on January 6, gold with expiry of February 5 was trading at Rs 1,38,554 on MCX. Which shows an increase of about Rs 450 from the previous day’s closing price. MCX Gold had reached a high level of Rs 1,38,776 in early trade.

Along with gold, there is a tremendous increase in the prices of silver also on Tuesday’s trading day. Silver with expiry of March 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,50,000 (per kg) on ​​MCX. Which shows an increase of about Rs 3900 from the previous day’s closing price. MCX Silver had reached a high level of Rs 2,50,723 in early trade.
