Gold Silver Price Today: A sharp fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen in the domestic future market on Thursday, April 2. The prices of both gold and silver have fallen. Till the time of writing the news, the gold future future with expiry of June 5, 2026 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was trading with a fall of about Rs 3,200.

Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,52,490 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,53,708.

At around 9:55 am, gold futures were trading at Rs 1,50,495, down 2.09 percent. Gold futures had reached a high of Rs 1,52,490 in early trade. Let us know how much money you will have to spend to buy these precious metals today.

On MCX, silver with expiry of May 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,43,501 (per kg), down by 4.90 per cent or about Rs 11,900. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,42,800. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,42,800.

Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 2,551 in Delhi. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to spend Rs 25,510. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 2,550. To buy 10 grams of silver in Mumbai and Kolkata, you will have to spend Rs 2,500.
