Gold Silver Price Today: A fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen in the domestic futures market on Monday, March 9. However, due to ongoing uncertainties at the global level, it is often seen that the prices of these precious metals increase. But today the prices have come down.

Till the time of writing the news, the gold future future with expiry of April 2, 2026 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) had slipped by about Rs 1139. There was also a fall of Rs 3534 in silver prices. Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,60,651 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,61,634.

On MCX, silver with expiry of May 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,64,751 (per kg), down by 1.32 per cent or Rs 3,534. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,67,497. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,67,498.

Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 2,800 in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to spend Rs 28,000. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 2,900.
