Do you keep thinking just lying on the bed at night? This is common, but it worsens sleep. You can use some psychological tricks to improve your sleep quality and avoid thinking more at night. Let’s know about these tricks and technics.

Do you keep thinking just lying on the bed at night? This is common, but it causes sleep. Here are 9 easy and effective ways to improve your sleep quality and avoid thinking more at night.

Brain Dumping: Take a notebook and pen before bedtime. Whatever is going on in your mind, like worries, incomplete work, feelings etc. It helps to empty your brain and organize things, so that you can sleep comfortably.

Controlled breathing: Deep breathing technics calms your nervous system. You can try 4-7-8 techniques. Breathe in the nose for 4 seconds, stop breathing for 7 seconds and leave the mouth out of the mouth for 8 seconds. This will calm your mind.

Progressive muscle relaxation: Slowly tighten the different muscle groups of your body and then leave them loose. Start with feet and move upwards. It reduces body stress and promotes relaxation.

Gratitud Journal: Write about the three things for which you are grateful before sleeping. It shifts your focus on positive things and helps in reducing negative thoughts.

Reduce screen time: Stop using your phone, tablet and computer at least one hour before sleeping. Blue lights coming out of the screen can disturb your sleep bicycle.

Regular sleep schedule: Sleep at the same time every day and get up, even if weekend is there. It helps to set your body’s internal clock, which gives you better sleep.

Quiet atmosphere: Keep your bedroom calm, dark and cool. It creates a comfortable atmosphere for sleep.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol: Do not consume caffeine (tea, coffee) and alcohol a few hours before bedtime, because both of them can interrupt your sleep.

Positive self talk: Talk positive to yourself. Remind yourself that you are safe and you can sleep comfortably. This will help in calming your mind. These technics can help you to stop thinking more at night and get better sleep. If you are having a constant sleep problem, then consult a doctor or mental health professional.

Most people try to sleep for a few more minutes by pressing the snooze button instead of getting up in the morning. This habit is very common and initially it may look relaxed for a few moments, but perhaps you do not know that it can affect both your body and mind. As a result you feel tired throughout the day and irritability can also increase. In such a situation, it is important that this habit should not be taken lightly and seriously thought about sleep. Let me tell you that very few people know about the hidden loss behind it.

Cardiologist Dr. Sriram Nene warns

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s husband and famous cardiologist (Heart Specialist) Dr. Sriram Nene made a big disclosure about this common habit. Posting a video on Instagram, he told that repeated snoozing alarm can be dangerous for health. This not only spoils the regular cycle of your sleep, but also has repeatedly impact on the brain. This can increase mental and physical fatigue.

Sleep can be deeper

According to Dr. Sri Ram Nene, the habit of repeatedly snoozing the alarm in the morning breaks our sleep in the middle. The result of this is that ‘sleep intercourse’ means that the tiredness and lethargy that feels after sleep is deeper. In such a situation, not only is it difficult to get up, but the body seems heavy throughout the day and it becomes difficult to focus on any work.

Snooze button is a shock to the brain

Dr. Nene told that when you try to sleep again after closing the alarm, the body starts going deeply. However, in a few minutes when the alarm rings again, your sleep breaks in one stroke. These repeated obstacles put pressure on the brain and can also affect the health of the heart when lasting for a long time.

Dr. Nene gave this advice

Dr. Shriram Nene says that waking up at good sleep and right time is very beneficial for mental and physical health. Repeated snoozing breaks the cycle of sleep, which has a bad effect on the brain and heart. His advice is to put a single alarm. Do not snooze him. Sleep on time and wake up in the morning and do light exercise. Keep the alarm away, so that you have to get up from the bed to close it. This will also break the habit of snoozing again and again and the process of waking up in the morning will become easier.
