Google messages blur feature: Google is now launching a new feature in its messaging app Google Messages, which is being called a sensitive content warning. With the help of this feature, if an objectionable or pornographic picture is sent, it will automatically be blurred.

This feature for children is defaulted by default

This new feature is specially designed to protect children and adolescents. According to a report by Business Standard, this feature will be on its own for users under 18 years of age. At the same time, users above 18 years of age can turn it on in settings.

Google has divided minors into two parts

1. Superwais user (Whose account parents control), Of these, the feature cannot be closed. Parents can control it with the Family Link App.
2. Uncumerwized Teen (Teenagers aged 13 to 17 who have their own account, If these users want, you can close it with their Google Account Settings.

How does this feature work?

This feature works in two ways

1. If a pornographic picture is received, the picture will automatically be blurred. So that the user will have this option to delete before looking at the picture. Or block the person sending such a picture.
Not only this, under this new feature, if the user wants, then you can also see the blur picture. If you regret after seeing, you can also blur again by tapping ‘Remove Preview’.

2. If you are going to send a picture or forward: If there is a nudity in the picture, the system will warns you first. The system will tell that sending such content can be risky and will ask for permission from you.

Complete security of privacy

The most special thing about this feature is that all this process is inside the phone. That is, your photos or private data are not sent to the server of Google. It uses Android’s SafetyCore system, which is active only when an app (eg Google Messages) takes permission.

According to the report, at present, this feature works only on pictures, not on the video. If you do not see this feature right now, do not panic. It is currently started on the beta version of only a few devices and will soon be rolled out for everyone.
