Govt issued notice to google to remove ablo app from play store know what is reason

The Government of India has directed Google to remove a Chinese video chat app Ablo from its Play Store. Actually the case is that in this app, India’s map is shown incorrectly. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (SOI) has issued a notice to Google in collaboration with the Survey of India (SOI), stating that the ABLO app has wrongly introduced the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Officials say it is a violation of national laws and compromises Indian sovereignty and integrity. Let us know about it in detail.

The most worrying thing is that this app has completely removed the island of Lakshadweep from the map. There are more than 10 thousand downloads of this app on Google Play Store. The notice states that it is clear that the ABLO app on the Google Play Store depicts the Indian map with the wrong external border of India in the subject map. According to the notice, the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 1990 is also mentioned, according to which it is a punishable offense to show the Indian map incorrectly. For this, there can be a jail and fine of up to 6 months.

In his letter to Google, Meity cited Section 79 (3) (B) of the Information Technology Act 2000. Under this law, online platforms have to remove any content that violates Indian laws immediately when the government issued a notice. The Ministry also cited the Supreme Court’s 2015 verdict in the Shreya Singhal vs. Union of India case, which has made it clear that the platform will have to follow the valid government orders. The ministry said that the wrong map in the ABLO app is a threat to India’s sovereignty and should be taken immediate action.

The issue was raised in the meeting between Meity and Survey of India (SOI). The government has also urged the Survey of India to consider taking legal action against such apps. Google Play Store Ban 17 Unregised Crypto Exchanges in South Korea

South Korea is investigating the legal level in the crypto business, so that investors can be connected only to the authorized firms. This week, Google Play, following a regulatory instructions, blocked 17 foreign Crypto Exchange including Kucoin on Android devices in the country. Existing users will no longer get the app updates. Meanwhile, the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) is discussing the removal of non -registered Crypto Business App from the App Store with Apple, which will further strict rules.

South Korea’s Financial Service Commission (FSC) has seen 22 crypto platforms working without legal registration. Among them, 17 exchanges including Kucoin, Mexc, Phemex, Bittrue, Bitglobal, Coinw and Coinex have been banned on the Google Play Store, which Confirmation FSC has done. Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) oversees registration related to crypto in the country. Crypto business not registered is a lack of government security, which threatens investors.

At present, it is not clear whether the compliance for the Ekol -affected exchange will decide whether or not and the next steps for these platforms are still not clear. South Korean is interacting with Apple to ban non -registered Crypto Business App from Autorized App Store. FIU and Korea Communication Standard Commission are also working together to identify and take action against non -registered crypto businesses. FIU has released a list of registered crypto platforms on its homepage, allowing traders to connect with only legally recognized firms. South Korea has recently implemented the Virtual Asset User Protection Act to strengthen the Investors Security Rules.
