Nitish Kumar’s party JDU’s action is continuing against the leaders who rebelled during Bihar assembly elections. While on Saturday the party had expelled 11 leaders, now on Sunday (26 October) JDU has also expelled five leaders including Gopal Mandal from the party.

According to a statement issued by JDU state general secretary Chandan Kumar Singh, the expelled members have also been suspended from the primary membership of the party. “The party took disciplinary action after finding that all five leaders were involved in anti-party activities in the state,” he said in his statement.

JDU has taken action against these leaders due to anti-party activities. The leaders who have been expelled from the party also include former ministers, former MLAs and former legislative councillors.

These leaders were thrown out

JDU has expelled MLA Gopal Mandal, former minister Himraj Singh, former legislative councilor Sanjeev Shyam Singh, former MLA Maheshwar Yadav and Prabhat Kiran from the party.

11 leaders were thrown out yesterday

Earlier on Saturday (October 25), JDU had expelled 11 leaders from the party for their involvement in anti-party activities. This also included former ministers, former MLCs and former MLAs. Those expelled included former minister Shailesh Kumar, former MLAs Shyam Bahadur Singh and Sudarshan Kumar and former MLCs Sanjay Prasad and Ranvijay Singh.

The leaders against whom action was taken yesterday included 11 leaders including former minister Shailesh Kumar, former MLC Sanjay Prasad, former MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh, former MLC Ranvijay Singh, former MLA Sudarshan Kumar.

‘Were working against the candidates’

Regarding this action, a senior leader of Nitish Kumar’s party said, “These expelled leaders were working against the officially declared candidates of the party and other NDA alliance partners. They were disregarding our ideology.”

In the case of objectionable remarks, JDU MP Ajay Mandal has lodged an FIR against his own party MLA Gopal Mandal. This complaint has been lodged on Wednesday (13, August 2025) at Ghogha police station in Bhagalpur. After receiving the application, a case has also been registered.

MP Ajay Kumar Mandal has said in his application that on 10 and 12 August 2025, MLA Gopal Mandal publicly questioned the media and hundreds of people. The MLA alleged- “MP Ajay Mandal keeps mistake.” Ajay Mandal said that the woman who was publicly accused of me is a member of my family (niece). Currently the state general secretary is the leader of the Women’s Cell JDU.

In his application, Ajay Mandal wrote on the allegations of Gopal Mandal, “The allegations made against me in a public place without any proof are completely untrue, baseless and derogatory.

‘Gopal Mandal’s criminal image’

MP Ajay Mandal has described the image of Gopal Mandal as criminal. He wrote in the application, “Honorable MLA Gopal Mandal ji has a criminal image. Many of his serious cases are pending in many police stations. They call themselves domineering, connecting themselves to criminal cases.” Ajay Mandal has demanded the police station to take action in this whole matter.

Let us know that JDU MLA Gopal Mandal keeps making absurd statements. The biggest thing is that the party does not take any action. Neither Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hears.

MLA Gopal Mandal: These days in Bihar, the discussion of CM Nitish’s son Nishant coming into politics is fast, although his father Nitish Kumar has not given any statement so far, but many MLAs and workers of his party want them to come to the party soon or else the existence of JDU will not be saved. Now Nitish Kumar’s Badbalo MLA Gopal Mandal has said in a statement that I have brought Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant into politics. If Nishant does not join the party, JDU will end. Nobody will listen to anyone in JDU. There is no leader in the party who can handle the party. Right now the matter is going on, they are slowly moving towards politics, they will have to come. However, he also said that whether he will contest elections or not, it cannot be said but will remain in the party.

At the same time, when the chairs were empty in the meeting of Congress President Kharge in Buxar, the JDU MLA said that who will listen to them, when no one knows them, who will listen to them. Nobody knows Khage in Bihar. People here know Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, but these people do not understand what Kharge says.

‘NDA set to win 235 seats’

Regarding the assembly elections to be held this year, many leaders are saying that the NDA is certain to get 225 seats in this election, but I believe that out of 243 assembly seats in Bihar, NDA is certain to win 235 seats and the NDA will form the government again. Nitish Kumar is scheduled to become Chief Minister again. No one can come to power bypassing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
