The political temperature has become high regarding the Gorton and Denton by-election to be held in North-West England, Britain. There has been a huge uproar over a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Controversy has started over the Urdu language propaganda video released by the Green Party. In this video, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is shown with PM Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to which the Labor Party has expressed strong objection.

The Green Party is being accused of creating division in the society and doing identity politics for votes. All parties are busy campaigning for the Gorton and Denton seats of Manchester. The Labour, Conservative and Greens parties are trying to counter the anti-immigration message of the far-right Reform UK.

What was said in the Green Party video?
In the video, British PM Starmer is shown with PM Modi and Benjamin Netanyahu, which is said to be promoting Islamophobia. Apart from this, pictures of Gaza are also included in the video. A large number of British Pakistani voters are being seen being targeted regarding this. It has been said in the voiceover in Urdu that reform wants to break our society. They want to deport families who have been living here for years, and they want to impose higher taxes on immigrants. They promote Islamophobia and they threaten our safety and dignity. The Green Party will not let this happen.

MP Navendu Mishra strongly condemned
The Labor Party has strongly criticized this video. Navendu Mishra, Labor MP for Stockport, said in a social media post that racism has no place in our politics, yet once again we are seeing reprehensible tactics that risk inflaming community tensions for electoral gain. He further said that this video raises serious questions.
