There is great news for the youth of Bihar. Recruitment has been announced for a total of 83 constable posts in the Special Branch of Bihar Police. Central Selection Council i.e. CSBC has released the official notification for this recruitment on 29 January. This recruitment has been done on the basis of the order of General Administration Department, Government of Bihar.

On which posts will there be recruitment?

83 posts in the recruitment are of constable (general closed cadre) or constable (general duty close cadre). The candidates selected on these posts will have to work in the special branch of Bihar Police. Special Branch is an important department of police, where intelligence work, security and other special responsibilities are done.

How much salary will you get?

The selected constables will get salary as per Level-3. This pay scale ranges from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The starting salary will be Rs 21,700 and will increase with time. Apart from this, other benefits of government job like allowance, pension, medical facilities etc. will also be available.

Whose reservation in recruitment and how much?

• Recruitment will be strictly as per reservation rules. The distribution of posts is as follows.
• General: 34 posts
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 8 posts
• SC (Scheduled Caste): 13 posts
• ST (Scheduled Tribe): 1 post
• Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 15 Posts
• OBC: 10 posts
• EBC Women: 2 Posts
• Dependents of Freedom Fighters: 2 posts

Apart from this, 35% reservation in total posts is for women. This means that approximately 29 posts are reserved for women. In such a situation, women can take advantage of women quota along with their category.

How will the selection be done?

Selection will be based on written examination, physical efficiency test (PET/PST) and other stages. According to some information, race test may not be conducted in a particular branch, but check the complete details in the official advertisement. There will be subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge in the written examination.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the process of recruitment to a total of 1024 posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electricity) in various departments of the state. The advertisement related to this has been officially released. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online soon. These rules have to be followed

According to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar and General Administration, it will be mandatory to get 40 percent to the general class candidates appearing in the written examination, 36.5 percent for backward class candidates, 34 percent to extremely backward class candidates and 32 percent minimum arrows for SC/ST, women and disabled candidates.

How much fees will be paid for application?

• General candidates will have to pay Rs 750.
• A fee of Rs 200 has been kept for the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes of the state of Bihar only.
• All (reserved/unreserved class) of permanent residents of Bihar state (reserved/unreserved class) are also Rs 200 for women candidates.
• A fee of Rs 200 has been fixed for disabled candidates (40% or more).
• A fee of Rs 750 has been kept for all other candidates.
