Govinda’s friend Lalit had told what had happened to Govinda. Lalit had told in a conversation with Hindustan Times that Govinda’s health deteriorated at night, so he talked to the family doctor, took medicine and went to sleep. But then at 12 o’clock in the night he faced a problem. Started feeling suffocated. So he called Lalit. Then Govinda was taken to the hospital. During this time Govinda’s wife and daughter were not with him. Actually, Sunita was out of town for a wedding. Whereas daughter Tina was in Chandigarh due to work. Now Govinda’s health is better than before.

Govinda had gone to the hospital to meet Dharmendra. Now Dharmendra has also been discharged. His further treatment will be from home only.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Govinda’s friend Lalit told that when Govinda fainted, his family was not with him. He said, ‘Sunita was not in the city and she had gone for a wedding. She reached Mumbai at midnight and is coming to the hospital. His daughter Tina was also in Chandigarh for work. She is also coming back and will be with Govinda by evening.

What happened to Govinda?
Lalit said, ‘He had weakness yesterday day. And then suddenly in the evening I felt disorientation for a few seconds. Had fainted. After that his family doctor told him over the phone a medicine which he took. Govinda took the medicine between 8.30-9 and went to his room to rest. Then suddenly he had trouble and felt suffocated at 12 o’clock in the night.

Lalit said, ‘Then Govinda called me home. I reached home at 12.15. Then his doctor advised to take him to the hospital. Took him to the emergency ward. He was admitted around 1 o’clock. Many tests were done. Their reports are yet to come. He is under the supervision of doctors. Govinda is resting. Nothing can be said about when he will be discharged until his report comes. I spoke to Govinda and he told that he is already fine.

Now his age is more than 61 years. At the same time, a few days ago, while campaigning in Maharashtra elections, he had chest pain, after which he left the road show midway and returned to Mumbai. Perhaps all this together is having an effect.

Doctors say that in such cases, low blood pressure, dehydration, irregular heartbeat or side effects of medicines can also be the reason. Govinda already has the problem of blood pressure.
