After the announcement regarding the faces of CM and Deputy CM in the grand alliance for Bihar Assembly elections (2025), there is a discussion that Muslims have been ignored. Leaders associated with AIMIM had also posted about this on X on last Thursday (October 23, 2025) and targeted the Grand Alliance. Meanwhile, Union Minister Chirag Paswan has made a big attack on the Grand Alliance.

‘If there are so many well-wishers then why not…’

While talking to journalists in Patna on Friday (October 24, 2025), Chirag said, “Muslims should understand who is talking about Muslims. This is the same RJD to which my father had told in 2005 to make a Muslim the Chief Minister. Why didn’t he make him the Chief Minister? If there are so many well-wishers, then why didn’t he make him the Chief Minister at that time? If he had made it at that time, he would have truly understood that his dedication was towards Muslims.”

Muslims are just vote banks for them: Chirag

Chirag Paswan further said, “They will say one thing and do another. There is a difference between action and words. Muslims are just a vote bank for them. Muslims should understand this as soon as possible. Whatever schemes we have made for the poor or public welfare, we have made schemes for them without any discrimination, no matter which caste, community or religion they come from, but these people see caste in it too… they see religion in it too.”

Let us tell you that there is a lot of rhetoric going on regarding Bihar elections. Although the faces of CM and Deputy CM have been announced in the grand alliance, it has also been made clear that if the elections are won, more Deputy CMs can be made.

A joint press conference was held by the Grand Alliance on Thursday (October 23, 2025). In this, senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot made it clear that if the Grand Alliance government is formed, the Chief Minister will be Tejashwi Yadav and the Deputy Chief Minister will be Mukesh Sahni. After this announcement, JDU has raised the question that 2.60% sailors will be given laddus, 18% Muslims will be given pumpkins. Are Muslims there only to scare and get votes?

Now politics has started on this whole matter. BJP spokesperson Danish Iqbal said that today the Grand Alliance has made it clear that these people talk about MY equation, but it is visible how much preference is being given to Muslims. Hundred percent of Muslim votes go to the grand alliance, but they just take the votes of Muslims and do not think anything about them.

Danish said, “Now there is a need to awaken the Muslims of Bihar. Now they should see what is right and what is wrong for them. All religious communities get respect in BJP. We are Muslims, yet all the work of the media cell is my responsibility. The Muslim community was made a minister in Uttar Pradesh. These people have deceived the Muslims before and are doing so even today.”

‘Nitish Kumar kept respecting Muslims’

On this issue, JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said that this is not today’s thing, people know about taking votes of Muslims but do not respect them. It was visible in 2015 itself that Lalu Prasad Yadav had placed senior leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui under Tej Pratap Yadav. Our leader Nitish Kumar has always respected Muslims. There were 12 communal riots during the reign of Lalu-Rabri. Our leader Nitish Kumar did the work of getting the accused punished in the Bhagalpur riots. These people only consider Muslims as their vote bank. This time the people of Muslim community are understanding everything.

Although RJD has defended it. RJD spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed said that NDA people do politics of spreading hatred. There is no complaint among the people of Muslim community. These people (NDA) always want to earn their living by doing Hindu-Muslim politics. Whatever was the demand of the time has been done. Everything will be fine in the coming time.
