After the poor performance of the Rashtriya Janata Dal-led grand alliance in the Bihar Assembly...

After the poor performance of the Rashtriya Janata Dal-led grand alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, tensions seem to be increasing between RJD and Congress. Leaders of both the parties are now also trying to show mirror to each other.

Grand alliance could not do anything special
In fact, in the recently held assembly elections, RJD, which was part of the grand alliance, contested 143 seats, but had to be content with only 25 seats. At the same time, Congress candidates could win only six seats. Apart from this, Mukesh Sahni Vikassheel Insaan Party, included in the Grand Alliance, could not win even a single seat.

The search for the reasons for the defeat continues
After the election results, review meetings started among all the parties, in which the reasons for the defeat are being sought. While RJD is holding a divisional-wise meeting in Patna to find out the reasons for the poor performance, Congress leaders are holding a review meeting in Delhi.

Will Congress adopt the go-it-alone policy?

It is being told that in the review meeting of Congress held in Delhi, many leaders emphasized on adopting the policy of “walk alone” and strengthening the organization. At the same time, many leaders also blamed friendly conflict in the elections.

RJD took a jibe at Congress

Meanwhile, RJD leaders are taunting about breaking the alliance with Congress and saying “let’s go alone”. RJD’s Bihar state president Mangani Lal Mandal said that whatever seats Congress has won in this election or whatever votes it has got, it has been because of RJD.

He said that RJD has its support base in Bihar, Congress also knows this. However, he also said that it is too early to say much. However, if someone wants to walk alone, he cannot be stopped.

Regarding strengthening the Congress organization, the RJD President said that this is a good thing. Congress has analyzed its strength. It is noteworthy that after the assembly elections, the assembly session is starting from Monday, in which all the new MLAs will be sworn in.

Big cracks are clearly visible in the ruling alliance Mahayuti in Maharashtra, which has now become difficult for BJP and Shiv Sena to hide. The discord between Devendra Fadnavis’ group and Eknath Shinde’s group is intensifying. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde’s MP son Shrikant Shinde has given a big statement.

In fact, recently senior BJP leader Ravindra Chavan had said that he has got the responsibility to save the Mahayuti only till December 2. On this, Shrikant Shinde said, “Ravindra Chavan should tell whether BJP wants to keep the alliance even after December 2 or not.”

While answering media questions during the election campaign, Shrikant Shinde accepted the ongoing rift between BJP and Shiv Sena. When he was asked that the alliance has to be preserved only till December 2, Ravindra Chavan said this. What does it mean? In response, Shrikant Shinde said, “I don’t know what he said. Ask him only whether he wants to keep the alliance in future or not?”

Why did the issue of December 2 arise?

Actually, Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections in Maharashtra are on December 2. In such a situation, speculations are being made that Mahayuti will be able to recover only till December 2. After this, the alliance partners seem to be moving apart.

Demand to make Eknath Shinde the Chief Minister again

Meanwhile, the issue of bringing Eknath Shinde as the chief ministerial face is again being raised in Maharashtra. Dada Bhuse, minister from Shinde faction of Maharashtra, gave a big statement during the civic election campaign. Dada Bhuse hinted at Eknath Shinde becoming the Chief Minister of Maharashtra again in the future.

He said, “Even today, if there is any Chief Minister’s face in the minds of people, it is that of Eknath Shinde. No such CM has been made in the history of the state. No one knows what will happen in the future.”

The stir has once again increased in the politics of Bihar. This time there are indications of a major political upheaval from within the Grand Alliance. Saharsa MLA and Indian Inclusive Party (IIP) President IP Gupta has openly said that he has received a call from NDA and he is ready to join NDA, but with an important condition. This statement of Gupta seems to further challenge the already weak position of the Grand Alliance.

IP Gupta said that he is ready to join NDA, but his clear condition is that Tanti-Tatva community should be included in SC category. He says that only the Central Government can take this decision and if his demand is accepted then he will join the NDA without any delay. He told that the population of Tanti-Tatva community in Bihar is between 80 lakh to 1 crore, but they have not got proper representation.

IP Gupta may join NDA

The IIP chief claimed that during the assembly elections, his party transferred its entire vote to the Grand Alliance constituents. According to him, NDA knows the power of this vote bank and that is why he is getting the offer to join NDA. IP Gupta also said that Tanti community is already economically and socially backward, hence it is necessary to include it in SC category.

Grand alliance should review its defeat – IP Gupta

Commenting on the crushing defeat of the Grand Alliance, IP Gupta said that the alliance parties should sit down and review where the mistakes happened. He clearly said that there is a need to understand and introspect on the message given by the public.

Will apologize before joining NDA

IP Gupta also announced that if NDA accepts his condition, he will publicly apologize to the voters and parties of the Grand Alliance before joining the NDA. He says that even after joining NDA, he will continue to work for the Tanti-Tatva community and the voters of his areas.

This statement can pave the way for a major political change in the politics of Bihar in the coming days. This is a challenge for the Grand Alliance, while it is a big opportunity for the NDA.

NDA got a landslide victory in Bihar Assembly elections and Nitish Kumar took oath as CM for the 10th time. Meanwhile, a big statement came from Congress leader and Jharkhand government minister Irfan Ansari on the defeat of the Grand Alliance in Bihar. He said that he is still in shock after the results of Bihar.

Irfan Ansari, who reached Delhi to meet senior Congress leaders, spoke to news agency IANS. During this he said that to defeat NDA we will have to unite honestly. There are many tricksters in BJP. We saw this in Bihar elections.

‘Such a big victory is impossible’- Irfan Ansari

Irfan Ansari said that NDA won 202 seats in Bihar elections, how can this happen? We are still in shock as to how this could happen. This is impossible.

‘Ansari community should not fall prey to Asaduddin Owaisi’- Irfan Ansari

Jharkhand government minister Irfan Ansari further said that neither is there any wave nor do the people want you, despite this you are getting so many seats. We (opposition parties) will have to fight the elections together. I have met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and he has given me the task to ensure that our youth (belonging to Ansari community) in Jharkhand do not fall prey to Asaduddin Owaisi. I have been given the responsibility to fix them. They have been asked to develop them. We are people who take everyone along.

Irfan Ansari does not know Imran Masood

At the same time, when Irfan Ansari was asked a question on Imran Masood’s statement, the Congress minister said, “I come from Jharkhand, I do not know Imran Masood.”

Allegation of scam again in Bihar elections

Jharkhand minister said that he has to give a report regarding Bihar elections. EVMs have been tampered with, that is why we have lost Bihar elections. How can 6 ministers get the same vote? When we announced the Chief Minister’s face, a face belonging to the Mallah community was put forward for the Deputy Chief Minister. If a face belonging to minority community had also been declared, the result would have been better. There was anger among the public about this, people asked me questions. Owaisi has taken full advantage of this.

Big news is coming out from the politics of Maharashtra. The reason for the displeasure of the ministers of Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde has come to light. To find a solution to this, a big decision has also been taken between Shiv Sena and BJP. In fact, senior BJP leaders have assured Eknath Shinde that no leader or worker of his party will join BJP.

Amidst the ongoing rift between Shiv Sena and BJP, this big news is coming that BJP has claimed that no Shiv Sena worker will be included in BJP. There will also be a meeting of senior leaders of Shiv Sena and BJP on this issue in the next two days.

Devendra Fadnavis gave assurance to Eknath Shinde

In this meeting to be held before the Maharashtra civic elections, it will be discussed which districts have conflicts in Mahayuti and how to find a solution to it. Both the leaders have assured each other that at the time of elections, the principle of alliance will be followed by both the parties.

Let us tell you, many workers from Thane, Kalyan Dobinwali, Palghar, which are considered to be the stronghold of Eknath Shinde, were planning to join BJP. Due to this resentment, Eknath Shinde’s ministers had boycotted the cabinet meeting of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Shiv Sena ministers did not attend the cabinet meeting

When the cabinet meeting was going on, Shiv Sena ministers did not reach the meeting room and sat in CM Fadnavis’ office. Only Eknath reached Shinde’s meeting. After this, Shiv Sena ministers met CM Fadnavis and explained the reason for their displeasure.

What was the outcome of the talks between Shiv Sena and BJP?

After not attending the meeting, Eknath Shinde’s ministers met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and said that they are angry that Shiv Sena leaders are being included in BJP. On this, CM Fadnavis explained that Shiv Sena had started in Ulhasnagar. If Shinde group does it then it is right and if BJP does it then it is wrong, how is this possible?

After this, CM Fadnavis clearly said that from now on each other’s workers will not be given entry in both the parties, but both the parties will have to follow this rule. Shiv Sena and BJP have agreed on this matter.

After the defeat in Bihar Assembly elections, opposition leaders are cornering the Election Commission (ECI) and the Modi government. For the first time, BJP has emerged as the largest party in Bihar by winning 89 seats, whereas even the Grand Alliance together could not touch the figure of 50. The statement of businessman Robert Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, has also come out on the same matter.

Vadra has raised questions on NDA’s landslide victory in Bihar and claimed that elections were not conducted properly and re-elections should be held in Bihar. Not only this, Vadra has also talked about protesting after the defeat in Bihar. He said that we want an honest country in which people are happy. Rahul Gandhi is not concerned with victory or defeat, he wants to keep the country secular. No matter how much defeat he faces, Rahul Gandhi will not stop, he will keep fighting.

Serious allegations made against BJP
Robert Vadra alleged that BJP is controlling the agencies and said that the Election Commission works at the behest of BJP. Vadra claimed that unless the Election Commission is controlled, you will see similar elections. He also said that if this continues then people will come out and protest.

What did Vadra say on Rahul Gandhi’s foreign tour?
Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s foreign tour, he said that if he (Rahul Gandhi) goes to see someone sick, will he have to tell everyone that I am going out? He said that Rahul has gone to see someone sick.
read this also

The results of Bihar assembly elections were shocking. NDA got direct benefit on those seats...

The results of Bihar assembly elections were shocking. NDA got direct benefit on those seats where the Grand Alliance had fought a friendly fight, which is clearly visible in the results. There are 11 such seats in Bihar, where such a scene was seen. The victory on all these seats fell in the lap of NDA candidates.

The seats on which Grand Alliance had fought friendly include Rajapakad, Beldaur, Kahalgaon, Chainpur, Sultanganj, Sikandra, Narkatiaganj, Karhagar, Vaishali, Biharsharif, Bachhwara seats. There was competition between the candidates of the Grand Alliance, but the NDA took the advantage. NDA candidates won on all the seats. Due to this, MGB directly had to suffer the loss of these 11 seats.

JDU, BJP and HAM won seats

If we look at NDA’s allies, there are three seats where BJP won and Nitish Kumar’s JDU won on seven seats. Among these, JDU won Vaishali, Beldaur, Sultanganj, Kahalgaon, Rajapakad, Chainpur and Karhagar seats. Apart from these, BJP hoisted its flag in Bihar Sharif, Narkatiaganj and Bachhwara, while Hindustani Awami Morcha won one seat in Sikandra.

By what margin did NDA candidates win which seat?

After the landslide victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome by the people of Bihari community in Surat district of Gujarat. During this, PM Modi also targeted the opposition grand alliance, citing the insult of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

PM Modi said that you must have seen the scenes of Bihar Assembly in the last two-three years. The way insulting Nitish Kumar had become a trend and the kind of foul language was being used, similar to what is seen in Parliament when other notables violate the decorum of Parliament, the same situation was visible in Patna. During this, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav were the targets of PM Modi.

The way insulting Nitish Kumar became fashionable, with vulgar language being used.
He said that neither the people of the country accept such things nor the people of Bihar can tolerate it. There were many such incidents which created a feeling of complete hatred towards him in this election. PM Modi said that we have got a historic victory in Bihar and while moving ahead from Surat, I felt that if I did not meet the people of Bihar here, this journey would seem incomplete. Therefore, it is natural for me to greet my Bihari brothers and sisters living in Gujarat, especially Surat, and be a part of this victory celebration.

We celebrated Bihar’s centenary with full respect in Gujarat: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘When Bihar completed 100 years, it was natural to celebrate it in Bihar too, but even outside Bihar, we celebrated Bihar’s centenary with full respect and pride in Gujarat. In this election, NDA won and Grand Alliance lost, the difference in votes of both was only 10 percent. This shows that the attention of the common voters was focused on only one issue and that is development.

He said, ‘The desire for development was visible everywhere in Bihar. Today the hunger for development is visible everywhere in Bihar. I remember how people across the country were returning to their homes during Covid. At that time I had the opportunity to interact with the people of Bihar and many of them used those difficult times to start their own businesses. This is the real strength of the people of Bihar. Wherever you go in the world, you will always see the talent of Bihar shining.

We have only one mantra – Nation First – PM Modi

PM Modi said, ‘You (people of Surat) also know and the people of Bihar also know that we are that party, when you gave us the job as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, then also our mantra was that development of Gujarat for the development of India. Our basic thinking is – Nation First. This is the mantra for us, every corner of India, every state of India, every language-speaking citizen. This is worshipable and venerable for us. Therefore, being proud of Bihar and accepting the potential of Bihar is a very easy thing for us.

He said, ‘My brothers and sisters living in Surat were keeping a close eye on this election. There is no need to teach politics to the people of Bihar. He has the power to teach politics to the world.

PM Modi’s taunt on Tejashwi-Rahul

Taking a dig at the leaders of the opposition grand alliance, PM Modi said, ‘For the last two years, these leaders released on bail have been roaming around in Bihar chanting the tune of casteist politics. He tried his best to dissolve the poison of caste discrimination, but in this election the people of Bihar completely rejected that poison.

He said, ‘People from all areas of Bihar and all sections of the society gave unprecedented support to the NDA. NDA was victorious in 38, 34 areas dominated by Dalits. This is a big blow to those trying to divide them from the Dalit community. The people of the country have rejected MMC (Muslim League Maoist Congress). He does not understand why his party lost. That’s why they have chosen an easy excuse that sometimes they blame EVMs, sometimes the Election Commission, sometimes the SIR. This game of excuses may go on for a few days, but in the long run their workers will not accept it.

He further said, ‘I know that they cannot even say words like Swadeshi, self-reliant India or developed India, because their priorities are not the nation, not the people of the country. I want to tell my young friends that the youth will never accept those people whose thinking is not for the upliftment of the youth. Therefore, friends, the results of Bihar elections are an important milestone in the politics of India.

After the results of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 came out, it has become clear that...

After the results of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 came out, it has become clear that this time the public has expressed huge trust in NDA. In the results, such a one-sided trend was seen in many districts, which completely changed the direction of electoral politics. There were 15 out of 38 districts in the state where the Grand Alliance could not win even a single seat and NDA candidates won every seat.

In the districts of Bihar where NDA won all the seats, the account of the Grand Alliance was not even opened. The voting pattern in these areas was so one-sided that only NDA victory was visible in every assembly constituency. This picture shows that the mood of the voters was very clear in these districts, and the opposition found no place here. In these 15 districts, NDA won 100 percent seats, with which the Grand Alliance was completely out. This is approximately 42 percent share in the total districts of the state, which is considered a big political advantage for any alliance.

Below is the complete data of major districts:

District Seats NDA Grand Alliance Others
Bhojpur 7 7 0 0
East Champaran 12 11 1 0
Katihar 7 4 3 1
Begusarai 7 5 2 0
buxar 4 3 1 0
West Champaran 9 7 2 0
Saharsa 4 2 2 0
Khagaria 4 4 0 0
Kaimur 4 3 1 0
Shivhar 1 1 0 0
Darbhanga 10 10 0 0
Bhagalpur 7 7 0 0
Rohtas 7 6 1 0
Muzaffarpur 11 10 1 0
dandy 5 5 0 0
Arwal 2 2 0 0
Madhubani 10 9 1 0
Gopalganj 6 6 0 0
Munger 3 3 0 0
jehanabad 3 1 2 0
Supaul 5 5 0 0
Siwan 8 7 1 0
Lakhisarai 2 2 0 0
Aurangabad 6 5 1 0
Araria 6 2 3 1
Saran 10 7 3 0
Sheikhpura 2 2 0 0
gone 10 8 2 0
Kishanganj 4 2 1 1
Vaishali 8 7 1 0
Nalanda 7 7 0 0
nawada 5 4 1 0
Purnia 7 6 0 1
Samastipur 10 7 3 0
Patna 14 11 3 0
jamui 4 3 1 0

Account opened in 16 districts, but very weak performance

Even where the Grand Alliance was able to win, its performance was not satisfactory. In many districts, they won only one seat, while the rest of the seats went to the NDA. In a big district like East Champaran, the Grand Alliance got only one seat while the NDA won all the remaining seats. Similar was the situation in many other districts where the Grand Alliance registered its presence but could not win the contest.

Detailed election performance of major districts

In the 2025 elections, the situation in various districts appeared clearly tilted in favor of NDA. The Grand Alliance remained completely empty handed in Bhojpur, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Lakhisarai, Gopalganj, Supaul, Nalanda, Khagaria and Banka. In many districts, NDA won six, seven or even ten seats, making this election one of the most one-sided contests ever. In some districts, the Grand Alliance won three or four seats, but overall it failed to stop the widespread influence of the NDA. Even in big districts like Muzaffarpur, Patna, Samastipur, Saran and Gaya, NDA was in clear lead and the Grand Alliance got only limited success.

What message do we get from this election result?

This election made one thing very clear, this time the people of Bihar were seen standing firmly on one side. Such a huge mandate for the NDA shows that issues related to development, stability and management have left caste and local equations behind. The challenges facing the Grand Alliance also came to the fore with the results, of which organizational weakness and lack of strategy were the most prominent.
