GST on materials like granite and marble has been reduced from 12% to 5%. After this 7% reduction, the total cost of construction of any room will be cut straight.

GST cuts can reduce the total cost of construction materials by three to five percent. That is, now making a room or a small house, the general public’s pocket will not be much burdened.

For example, if the cost of ₹ 1.5 to ₹ 2 lakh was spent in making the first 10 × 12 room, then 3%-5% cut simply means that now you can save from ₹ 4500 to ₹ 10000.

Accurate savings depend on the fact that you use premium grade or budget favorable material. Good quality content is more expensive, so saving in the total rupees of premium construction can be more.

The prices of the material vary according to the place. For example, cement or marble may be cheaper than another in one state. This means that cost reduction in cities and villages will be different.
