In the year 2026, this program has taken its biggest form so far. This time the discussion on examination has created a new history in the matter of registration.

According to official data, till January 9, 2026, around 4.3 crore people have registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026. This number is a big record in itself. Students have participated the most in these. Which includes students 4,00,41,236, teachers 24,03,234 and parents 5,73,703. It is clear from these figures that the discussion on examination is not limited only to students, but teachers and parents are also taking active part in it.

World record was made last year also

In the last edition, Pariksha Pe Charcha was recognized by Guinness World Records. At that time 3.53 crore registrations were registered in the program. This time in 2026, this figure has gone even further, which clearly shows that its popularity is increasing rapidly every year.

When will there be discussion on exam 2026?

According to official information, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 will be organized in January 2026. However, its exact dates have not been announced yet. Students, teachers or parents who want to participate in it can apply by visiting the official website innovateindia1.mygov.in till midnight of 11 January 2026. In this, students, teachers and parents of class 6 to 12 can apply. To apply, participants will have to log in or sign up with mobile number or email ID.

How is the registration and selection process?

After logging in, the applicant has to select his category. They then have to participate in a multiple-choice question-answer activity based on the exam, study methods, or exam-related stress. This activity is part of the selection process. On completing the process, participants are also given a participation certificate. Based on the answers and suggestions received, some questions and participants will be selected, who may get a chance to interact during the program. The format of the dialogue and other details will be announced later.

Registrations started from 1st December

Registration for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 will start from 1 December 2025 and will continue till 11 January 2026. During this period, lakhs of people from India and abroad have participated in it. The purpose of discussion on examination is not only to prepare for the examination but also to strengthen the mental health, confidence and positive thinking of the students. This program is organized every year before the board examinations, so that the students can get the right direction and guidance.

Last year, the eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held on 10 February. It was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The program was organized at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, where students, teachers and parents had a candid conversation on issues related to exams and stress. In the last edition, students from more than 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, parents from 149 countries were associated with this program. When the discussion on examination was held for the first time in 2018, about 22,000 participants participated in it. Today this number has increased to crores, which shows its success and importance.

Even though lightning occurs in other parts of the world, their intensity is considered much less than in Catatumbo.

Why has this mystery not been solved yet?

The first attempt to understand the mystery of frequent lightning strikes in Venezuela was made in the 1960s. In initial research, it was estimated that the minerals present under the ground and the elements present in the rocks were attracting electricity. Later, in another research, the reason was said to be the abundance of methane gas in this area. However, none of these reasons has been completely proven. This is the reason that even today scientists have not been able to explain clearly why lightning strikes here so frequently.

China has inaugurated the world’s longest Tianshan Shengli Tunnel in Xinjiang province and opened it to the general public. This tunnel is about 22.13 kilometers long and passes under the Central Tianshan mountain located in the Uyghur region of northwest China.

According to Song Hailiang, Chairman of China Communications Construction Company, this tunnel has created two world records. He said that this is the longest expressway tunnel in the world and it has the deepest vertical shaft compared to any highway tunnel.

How China’s new Tianshan Shengli Tunnel will make travel easier

• The Tianshan Shengli Tunnel, which passes through the central Tianshan Mountains in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, has reduced the difficult and long journey through mountainous terrain from several hours to about 20 minutes.
• According to the government news agency Xinhua, this tunnel is a major part of the G0711 Urumqi-Yuli Expressway, which became operational on Friday (December 26, 2025).
• This expressway will serve as an important transport artery linking city clusters to the north and south of Xinjiang.
• The world’s longest tunnel, spanning about 2,500 kilometers, is located in the Tianshan mountain range in central Xinjiang and separates the provincial capital Urumqi from Korla.
• With the opening of the expressway, the travel time between Urumqi and Korla has reduced from about 7 hours to about three to three and a half hours.
• This new engineering achievement of China passes through 16 major geological fault zones.
• This more than 22 kilometer long tunnel passes through the Tianshan mountain range, where earlier the journey used to take several hours, now the same journey is completed in just 20 minutes.
• China started the construction work of this entire project in the year 2020. It has been completed at a cost of about 6.6 billion US dollars.

A divine sight was seen in the holy city of Ayodhya on Sunday evening. In the ninth edition of the Deepotsav, a new world record was created by illuminating the holy land of Lord Shri Ram with 26 lakh 17 thousand 215 lamps. Devotees from India and abroad made the city echo with the chants of ‘Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’.

According to a statement issued by the state government, devotees offered prayers on the banks of river Saryu. On this occasion, every temple, street and house of Ayodhya glowed with the aura of devotion. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh made two new ‘Guinness World Records’. First, to light 26 lakh 17 thousand 215 lamps across the city and second, to perform the Aarti of Maa Saryu by 2,128 Vedacharyas, priests and sadhaks together. According to the statement, both achievements were confirmed by drone calculations and certified by representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records.

More than 32 thousand volunteers engaged

More than 32 thousand volunteers from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and local organizations made this achievement possible. On Adityanath’s call, lamps were lit in homes, temples, monasteries, ashrams and public squares across Ayodhya. The evening concluded with a grand aarti at Ramkatha Park, where the Chief Minister, his cabinet members and saints worshiped Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan and Hanuman.

As ‘Ram Aaye Awadh Ki Oor Sajni’ echoed in the background, flowers were showered from the helicopter and the symbolic coronation of Shri Ram filled the atmosphere with devotion and pride. In this spiritual moment, when Lord Shri Ram, Lakshman and Mata Sita descended from the ‘Pushpak Viman’ (helicopter), the Chief Minister himself pulled the sacred chariot. Describing the scene as divine and unforgettable, devotees said, ‘Today Ayodhya truly reflects the spirit of Treta Yuga. Sages, saints and dignitaries also participated in this ceremony and blessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi.

Prominent attendees included Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, Dr. Ramvilas Vedanti, Raghavacharya Maharaj, Kamal Nayan Das Maharaj and Santoshcharya Maharaj (Satua Baba). Champat Rai and Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, several state ministers and officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust also attended the ceremony.

CM Yogi told and the festival of faith and unity

The Chief Minister started and ended his address on this occasion with the praise of Lord Ram, Mother Sita, Mother Saryu and Hanuman ji and said that the Deepotsav of Ayodhya is a symbol of ‘faith, unity and pride in Sanatan Dharma’. Earlier, 22 tableaux depicting episodes from Ramayana and performances by over 2,000 Indian artists along with artists from Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal and Sri Lanka enthralled the audience. The streets were decorated with flowers and rangoli.

The night sky of Ayodhya came alive with an excellent show of 1,100 indigenous drones. In this, the divine form of Lord Ram and scenes from Ramayana were engraved on the sky through lights. These scenes mesmerized the devotees. After this, CM Yogi visited Shri Ram temple. Also worshiped and performed aarti at the sanctum sanctorum and Ram’s paadi.

A day before Diwali, Deepotsav was celebrated with great pomp in Ayodhya. Its 9th edition was organized on Sunday (19 October). Meanwhile, a record for lighting lamps has also been established. 26 lakh lamps have been illuminated from Ram Ki Paidi to the banks of Saryu. Entire areas have been illuminated with laser light shows.

A record has also been made for lighting the maximum number of lamps in this festival of lights. In which 26,17,215 lamps have been lit. On the other hand, 2128 Archakas have performed the Aarti of Maa Saryu together. During this time the team of Guinness Book of World Records was present there. CM Yogi has also been given a Guinness World Records certificate.
