IPL 2026 GT vs RR Qualifier-2 Highlights: Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the second qualifier and made it to the finals. Captain Shubman Gill made an important contribution in helping Gujarat win unilaterally with his century. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 214 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing, GT won by scoring 219 runs for 3 wickets in 18.4 overs. Gill played the biggest innings for the team and scored 104 runs in 53 balls with the help of 15 fours and 3 sixes.

Sai Sudarsh, who opened with Gill, also played a brilliant innings and scored a fifty. By making a partnership of 167 runs (in 77 balls) for the first wicket, both of them almost gave victory to the team. Sudarshan scored 58 runs in 32 balls by hitting 8 fours and 1 six. Like the previous match, he was out through hit wicket in this match also. Now Gujarat became the second finalist. The team will play the final match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 31 May (Sunday).

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s innings went in vain

Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag had won the toss and decided to bat. 15 year old opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an amazing inning for the team and scored 96 runs in 47 balls with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes. Apart from Suryavanshi, Ravindra Jadeja scored 45 runs. The batsmen of the rest of the team could not do anything special.

Apart from Suryavanshi and Jadeja, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 01 run, Dhruv Jurel scored 07 runs, Captain Riyan Parag scored 11 runs, Dasun Shanaka scored 03 runs, Joffra Archer scored 07 runs and Denovan Ferreira scored 38* runs in 11 balls. Ferreira’s innings included 2 fours and 4 sixes.

Gujarat’s wonder in chase

Amazing batting was seen from Gujarat side while chasing. Gill and Sudarshan made a big partnership. After the fall of both their wickets, the rest of the work was done by Jos Buttler, Washington Sundar and Rahul Tewatia. Sundar scored 16 runs, Butler scored 09* runs and Tewatia scored 17* runs.
