India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval suddenly visited Saudi Arabia, where he held important meetings with the top leaders there. During this, different areas of cooperation between the two countries were reviewed and the rapidly changing situation in the region was discussed in detail. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has given information about this visit. The special thing is that this visit has taken place at a time when Pakistan has sent its fighter jets and soldiers to Saudi Arabia.

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh informed on Twitter that Ajit Doval reached Riyadh on April 19 and met Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaad Al-Aiban. In these meetings, detailed discussions were held on the relations, mutual interests and regional issues of the two countries. The embassy also said that many important strategic and regional topics were included in the discussion.

Tour amid ongoing war in Middle East

This visit has taken place at a time when the war over Iran in the Gulf region seems to be escalating again.
