Mp news: The 27 -year -old son and his friend of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councilor have been arrested for alleged involvement in a road accident in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh. Two people died in this accident. The police gave this information on Sunday.

Police officials said that the accused councilor son also tried to mislead the police and hide the Thar car.

Police officials said that the accident took place near Motijheel in Bahodapur police station area on Friday night. During this time a Thar vehicle crushed the mother and daughter on the way, in which mother Gora Devi (55) and her daughter Gauri Kushwaha (35) died.

Additional Superintendent of Police Niranjan Sharma said that after executing the incident, the accused escaped but when the matter was investigated, it was revealed that Harsh Rai (27) had hit him with his car.

He said that when the police reached to arrest him, he misled the police and said that his friend had taken this vehicle. Apart from this, the accused also tried to hide the vehicle.

Sharma said that the police saw CCTV footage and discovered evidence and arrested Harsh Rai and one of his friends on the basis of it. Chandan Rai, father of accused Harsh Rai, has also been a councilor and currently his mother Rekha Rai is a councilor of ward number four.

At the same time, the restaurant operator says that a person was calling himself a minister. When he was told that all the seats of the ground floor are booked and there was a seating arrangement, they were enraged and reached the kitchen with supporters. The operator alleged that the people with the minister beat up the staff.

Congress leader Umang Singhar reacted sharply to the incident. He said, “The farmer of Madhya Pradesh stands in line for hours for fertilizer, but the government does not matter. But when a minister did not get the table in the hotel, the entire administration ran, the hotel operator was assaulted, the food safety officer was called.
